  • Permission given to open coaching centers in the capital, centers will be operated with restrictions

    In Chhattisgarh, instructions were given to close the coaching centers in view of Corona, but the process of giving relaxation has started as soon as the cases of Corona decrease. In this episode, Raipur Collector has given permission to open coaching centers.

    Raipur Collector Saurabh Kumar has issued an order, in which the coaching center will be operated with 50 percent students of the seating capacity. Coaching centers will be able to open till 8 pm. It will be mandatory to follow physical distancing in all coaching centers. Along with this, wearing a mask has also been made necessary. If found violating the rules, the coaching center will be sealed for 30 days. This order has been implemented with immediate effect.

  • Permission to call one-third of the employees in the Ministry, ban on entry of outsiders

  • Ban on all international flights extended till 31 January 2021

    The government of India has extended the ban on international flights till 31 January 2021 due to the outbreak of Coronavirus spread across the world. This restriction will not apply to special flights and international air cargo operations. Aviation regulator DGCA gave this information on Wednesday. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said, “However, on a case-by-case basis, the competent authorities may allow flights for select routes.”

    Regular international passenger airline has been suspended from 23 March due to Corona virus epidemic. However, special international flights have been allowed to operate to certain countries since May under the Vande Bharat Abhiyan and “Air Bubble” arrangements. India has signed an “air bubble” agreement with 24 countries including the US, UK, Saudi Arabia, Kenya, Bhutan and France. The DGCA also said that this would not affect the operation of the cargo planes. On Wednesday, the Ministry of Aviation has extended the temporary ban on UK flights to 7 January 2021 in view of the strain of corona virus spreading in Britain.

  • WB govt denies permission to Amit Shah’s rath yatra

    The West Bengal government has refused permission to BJP president Amit Shah’s proposed ‘rath yatra’ from Coochbehar on grounds that it might cause communal tension, the state’s advocate general informed the Calcutta High Court on Thursday.

    Kishore Dutta told the court that the Coochbehar superintendent of police refused permission for the BJP president’s rath yatra from Friday.

    The state submitted that it might cause communal tension.

    Asked by the judge who will take responsibility if anything untoward happens,  BJP counsel Anindya Mitra submitted it is the duty of the state government to maintain law and order.

    The advocate general opposed the BJP filing a supplementary affidavit opposing the refusal of permission, saying it can either come with a fresh petition or an amendment to his petition.
