Farooq Abdullah of the National Conference echoed calls for peace but with a sharper critique. ‘Wars bring only devastation, as seen in Israel’s losses. What good comes from such fights?’ he asked, advocating an end to hostilities that amplify suffering without resolution.

Mufti also addressed party developments, warmly inducting new members, especially youth burdened by joblessness and harassment.
