  • Routine for Pakistan to come up with ‘farcical actions’ prior to key international meets: MEA on Lakhvi sentencing

    NEW DELHI:  India on Friday slammed Pakistan over the sentencing of 26/11 mastermind Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, saying the timing of the action suggests Islamabad’s intention of conveying a sense of compliance ahead of key global meetings.

    “The timing of these actions clearly suggests the intention of conveying a sense of compliance ahead of the APJG meeting and next FATF plenary meeting in February 2021,” Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Anurag Srivastava said.

    “It has become routine for Pakistan to come up with such farcical actions prior to important meetings. UN proscribed entities and designated terrorists act as proxies for Pakistani establishment to fulfill its anti-India agenda. It is for the international community to hold Pakistan to account and ensure that it takes credible action against terror groups, terror infrastructure and individual terrorists,” he added.

    Lakhvi was sentenced to 15 years in jail in a terror-financing case by an anti-terrorism court in Lahore. The LeT commander was arrested by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) of Punjab province last Saturday. 

    “The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore convicted Lakhvi for commission of offences of terrorism financing in a case registered by the CTD for 15 years under different section of the Anti-Terrorism Act 1997,” a court official as saying after the hearing. He is also on the NIA’s most wanted list.

    Judge Ejaz Ahmad Buttar sentenced Lakhvi to five years of rigorous imprisonment each on three counts with a fine of PKR 100,000 (approximately $620) each on three counts. Lakhvi pleaded before the court that he was ‘falsely implicated’ in this case.

    BHOPAL: The New Year began on a memorable note for the Gupta family residing in Shahdol district who is set to reunite with their lost son Ravendra Gupta, who returned to India after languishing in Pakistan’s Lahore jail for over a decade.

    Almost 17 years back, the eldest among the three brothers, young Ravendra alias Raju Gupta left his home in search of a job at Mumbai and Surat. He remained in touch with the family for a few years, but then lost all contact with them.

    Six months ago, Raju’s family came to know that their son was languishing in Lahore Jail since the past couple of years.

    The family reported the matter to the Shahdol district police, which subsequently informed the matter to state PHQ in Bhopal.

    To set the ball rolling for Raju’s release the case was then reported by the Madhya Pradesh government to the central government and then to the Ministry of External Affairs in Delhi.

    Now, the family who had lost all hopes of seeing or meeting their lost son again is set reunite with Raju, who was recently handed over by the Pakistani authorities to the Indian authorities at the Wagah border.

    “We recently came to know from the Shahdol district collector about Raju having been released from Pakistani jail and handed over to Indian authorities on the Wagah border.

    He is presently in Amritsar and we’ve sent his family members with a local police team to bring him back to native Shahdol district,” additional SP of Shahdol district Mukesh Vaishya told The New Indian Express.

    Elated over her lost son’s return, Raju’s teary-eyed mother Raimun Gupta said, “I’d lost all hopes of seeing my son again, but this New Year has begun on a memorable note for us. We can’t wait to meet Raju and bring him back home.”

    According to sources close to Raju’s family, the youngster went to look for a job in Mumbai and Surat 17 years ago, but subsequently went missing and mysteriously landed up in Lahore Jail in Pakistan.

    “We don’t know how he landed in Pakistan Jail. His family came to know about him being lodged in a Pakistan jail some six to seven months ago, after which they reported about it to local police here,” a close relative of Gupta family said.

    Sources close to family also claimed that Raju is unable to speak and has become mentally disturbed, perhaps due to extreme torture in the Pakistan jail.

    Jammu: Pakistan has violated ceasefire violations 8571 times in less than three years on the International Border and Line of Control adjacent to Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir. At the same time, till July this year, Pakistan has fired 2952 points on the border, in which 15 civilians and 8 soldiers have been killed.

    On the border with Pakistan, there is an average firing 9 times a day.

    The Union Home Ministry has given this information in response to an RTI. According to these figures, an average of 9 times a day firing on the border with Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir. In response to an RTI filed on behalf of RTI activist Raman Sharma of Jammu, the Ministry of Home Affairs has said that Pakistan has violated ceasefire on the border 8571 times from January 2018 to July 2020.

    In this information, it has been said that from January 2018 to July 2020, 119 people have lost their lives, including the martyrdom of 56 soldiers, in this firing being carried out on the international border and LoC in Jammu and Kashmir. According to this information, if this firing from across the border is compared to the year 2010, then in 2019 these incidents have increased by 50 percent. Whereas in 2020, the incidents on the border have risen by 60 percent so far.
    The Home Ministry claims that from the year 2010 to July 2020, Pakistan has violated ceasefire along the border 11572 times. In which 122 civilians have died while jawans of 118 security forces have also martyred.

    The website is temporarily unavailable after the hacking incident and has not yet been made available to the general public. The motive behind hacking this website was to send the wrong message to the people of the country. So far there has been no report of any kind of data theft in this hacking. 

    The officials of the Union Minister of State for Home also claimed that the website did not contain data related to the government. The website was given information about the minister, his public activities and political programs. Officials said that the website included Minister Kishan Reddy The works were his profile and personal details, which are all in the public domain.

    Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Moman has dismissed reports that claimed that relations between Bangladesh and India have started to come away. In fact, a few days ago a leading Bangladeshi newspaper claimed that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was not giving time to meet India ‘s High Commissioner Rewa Ganguly Das for four months. On this, Moman said that Bangladesh is a friend of all and has historical relations with India.

    Moman has clarified that Hasina has not met any foreign ambassadors who have gone back to their country. He has also said that PM Corona has not met anyone due to the virus epidemic. She is currently holding a cabinet meeting through video conference. Moman has said that the information coming out about this is completely wrong and concocted.

    India made a law, under the Constitution, to divide the state of Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories – Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. This law was enacted in the Rajya Sabha on 5 August and passed in the Lok Sabha the next day. On 9 August it also received the assent of the President. As soon as this law came into force, a lockdown was put in place to maintain peace in Jammu and Kashmir and the big leaders were put under house arrest. Most of which have now been released, except for some politicians like Mehbooba Mufti of PDP. 

    Campaign against India

    Pakistan started international campaigns against India only after the removal of Article 370 of India. Imran Khan, in his speech at the United Nations General Assembly in September, said that after the lockdown was lifted, the rivers of blood would flow in Kashmir and the valley streets would be massacred. Imran Khan also blackmailed the countries of the world by intervening in this matter with his speech referring to nuclear weapons. After this, two other countries talked about the issue of Kashmir, Tukri and Malaysia, which was led by Mahathir Mohammad but died.

    China also issued two statements on abolishing Article 370 of India. The first one in which India and Pakistan were asked to work together on the Kashmir issue. But the real concern behind this was the conversion of Ladakh into a union territory. Dasura in which China’s Foreign Ministry stated that China always opposes the inclusion of Chinese territory in the western region of China-India border in the administrative region of India. On which India said that changing its territory to Union Territory is India’s internal matter.

    Malaysia and Turkey stand

    For its August 5 plan, the Pak government is busy spreading its voice to Kuala Lumpur, Ankara and Beijing or at least tweeting about it. Turkey is expected to join this plan but India Malaysia wants to see how it reacts. Malaysia has recently got a new Prime Minister Muhyidin Yasin is sworn in as Prime Minister on 1 March. A Chinese government official said that no matter how India tried to expand its territory . This led to a stalemate and bloody confrontation in the Galvan Valley in eastern Ladakh, and killed soldiers for the first time in 40 years at the Line of Actual Control LAC.

    The Foreign Ministry has been asked to work closely with the ASI on how they are organizing and preparing rallies with member countries of OIC, international human rights groups. Counter-terrorism officials told Hindustan Times that the Pakistan Army has prepared this campaign for Imran. Documentaries, pamphlets and some big newspapers will be part of this campaign, all these preparations have been done by the army. Imran Khan will just be its face. Like ISI, many people had tried to carry out activities in Kashmir by forming terrorist groups to prove that terror has spread after the removal of Article 370 in Kashmir, Pakistan had tried its best to do this propaganda.

    पीएम मोदी ने कल मध्यप्रदेश के धार में कहा था कि पाकिस्तान अभी भी नहीं सुधरा तो उन्हें बता दिया गया है कि हम क्या करेंगे?  

    इस चेतावनी के बाद पाकिस्तान डर के मारे दिखाने के लिये ही सही पर मसूद अजहर के भाई समेत ४४ आतंकियों को हिरासत में लिया है। तथा पाकिस्तान स्थित सभी प्रतिबंधित संगठनों की संपत्ति भी जप्त करने का आदेश दिया है। घबराए पाकिस्तान ने एलओसी पर हलचल बढ़ाई है, अतिरिक्त सैन्य टैंको की तैनाती भी की है।  

    सर्जिकल स्ट्राईक और एयर स्ट्राईक करके हमने बता दिया है और हमारी इस आतंकविरोधी मुहिम में पूरे विश्व के देशों का साथ मिल रहा है। इस्लामिक या मुस्लिम बाहुल्य देशों से भी हमें समर्थन मिल रहा है। पाकिस्तान से तो हम निपट लेंगे अर्थात पूरे पागल को तो जैसे जेल में डाल दिया जाता है वैसे ही हम आतंकिस्तान को अपनी  गिरफ्त में ले लेंगे।

    समस्या तो यह है कि आधे पागलों का क्या किया जा सकता है? इसी प्रकार से ओसामा जी, हाफिज साहब, अफजल गुरू जी कहने वालों और  सर्जिकल स्ट्राईक जैसे ही एयर स्ट्राईक पर सबूत मांगने वाले जयचंदों का क्या किया जाये?  आधे पागलों को जेल में तो डाला नहीं जा सकता। हां आगरा के पागल खाने में या सुधार ग्रह में भेजा जा सकता है।

    ओसामा को ‘जीÓ और हाफिज को ‘साहबÓ क्यों कहते हैं दिग्विजय?

    अब सवाल उठता है कि क्या दिग्विजय सिंह को ‘दुर्घटनाÓ और ‘आतंकी घटनाÓ का शाब्दिक अर्थ नहीं मालूम या फिर उनसे कोई चूक हुई है। या उनके ट्वीटर अकाउंट को हैंडल करने वाली टीम से यह गलती हुई है। हालांकि, इस बीच दिग्विजय पुलवामा आतंकी हमले को ‘दुर्घटनाÓ बताने वाले अपने बयान पर कायम हैं और उनका कहना है कि किसी की हिम्मत है तो उन पर केस करे। कांग्रेस इस मामले को जबरन तूल देने का आरोप लगा रही है। जबकि भाजपा के कई बड़े नेताओं से लेकर खुद प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी इसे लेकर दिग्विजय पर हमलावर हो चुके हैं। ऐसा कतई नहीं है कि इस मामले में सिर्फ दिग्विजय सिंह की ही जुबान फिसली है, भारतीय जनता पार्टी के नेता और यूपी के उपमुख्यमंत्री केशव प्रसाद मौर्य भी पुलवामा हमले को बड़ी ‘दुर्घटनाÓ बता चुके हैं।

    जनरल विके सिंह ने स्पष्ट कर दिया है किसे दुर्घटना कहते हैं और किसे आतंकवादी घटना।

    यदि पुलवामा में जेईएम के आत्मघाती दस्ते द्वारा हमारी सेना के ४० जवानों की शहादत हुई  यदि यह दिग्विजय सिंह जैसा कह रहे हैं वैसे दुर्घटना थी तो राजीव गांधी की हत्या भी क्या दुर्घटना थी आतंकवादी घटना नहीं।

    >> एयर स्ट्राईक के तुरंत बाद टीवी चैनल्स में यह बताया जा रहा था कि अजहर मसूद का भाई और अन्य कौन-कौन मरे, कितने मरे आदि।

    इसके अलावा यह भी टीवी चैनल में बताया जा रहा था कि पाकिस्तान वहॉ से सभी सबूतों को खून को मिटाने का प्रयास कर रहा है। लाशें भी गायब कर रहा है जिससे कि फॉरेन के मीडिया को बुलाकर दिखाया जा सके कि यहॉ बालाकोट में कोई भी आतंकी गतिविधियां नहीं होती हैं।

    एयर स्ट्राईक  के तुरंत बाद पाकिस्तान की संसद तक में इमरान खान के प्रति शेम शेम के नारे सांसद लगा रहे थे। वे कह रहे थे कि मोदी से बढ़़कर कोई भी हिन्दुस्तान का प्रधानमंत्री पाकिस्तान का दुश्मन नहीं रहा है।

    भारत में कांग्रेस तथा अन्य वंशवादी पार्टी के नेताओं को क्या हो गया है पता नहीं कोई सबूत मांग रहा है तो कोई लाशों की संख्या पूछता है। उनके  प्रोपोगेंडा करने वाले टीवी चैनल्स के द्वारा कहलवाया जा रहा है कि अमित शाह ने २५० की संख्या कैसे बताई?  उसके बाद से ही विपक्ष लाशों की संख्या पूछ रहा है।

    >> अरे भई! अमित शाह २५० बता रहे हैं तो वंशवादी विपक्षी पार्टियां कोई नहीं मरा, एक मरा दो मरा यह कह सकते हैं यह कहने के लिये उन्हें कौन रोकता है। जनता अपने आप समझ जायेगी कि कौन हिन्दुस्तान में ही छोटे -छोटे पाकिस्तान  पाल रहा है। यहॉ यह उल्लेखनीय है कि पश्चिमी बंगाल के टीएमसी के एक सांसद ने पाकिस्तान के प्रतिनिधिमंडल को बुलाकर एक स्थान विशेष ल ेजाकर कहा था कि देखो यह हमारे यहॉ का मिनी पाकिस्तान है

    सर्जिकल स्ट्राईक के बाद अमित शाह और भाजपा के नेता मिठाई खाये वितरित किये इस पर भी उन्हें आपत्ति हुई। आपत्ति करने वालों को कौन रोक रहा था मिठाई खाने और जश्र मनाने के लिये वो क्यों मुंह लटकाये रहते हैं।

    श्रीनगर लोकसभा सीट के चुनाव के दौरान स्थानीय लोगों द्वारा चुनाव कार्य में तैनात अद्धसैनिक बलों के साथ दुव्र्यवहार और उन पर पथराव के बाद एक वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हुआ था .जिसमें मेजर गोगोई को चुनाव में तैनात सुरक्षा बलों की रक्षा के लिए एक स्थानीय नौजवान को जीप पर बांधकर ले जाते हुए दिखाया गया था. इस कारण से पत्थरबाज जीप में बंधे अपने साथी पर पत्थर नहीं फेंस सके थे।

    अतएव इसी प्रकार से यदि अगली बार एयरस्ट्राईक होने के समय सुखोई या मिराज-२१ में उन लोगों को बैठाकर पाकिस्तान ले जाया जाये जिससे कि वे वहॉ मरने वाले आतंकियों के शवों की गिनती कर सकें।

  • 11 killed as bus falls into gorge in Poonch

    At least 11 people were killed and 19 others injured Saturday when a passenger bus skidded off a road and plunged into a deep gorge in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

    The accident occurred at Plera when the driver of the bus, coming from Loran to Poonch, lost control over the vehicle while negotiating a curve and rolled down into a 100-meter gorge, a police official said.

    Quoting preliminary information, he said 11 persons were killed on the spot while 19 others were injured in the accident.

    The death toll is expected to go up as the condition of most of the injured was stated to be “critical”, the official said.

    A rescue operation is on and further details are awaited, he said.
