He criticized the opposition for habitually siding with adversaries during national crises. ‘Opposition isn’t about blanket rejection; it’s about national duty,’ Gupta stated firmly.

On LPG woes, he lauded the Modi government’s resilience. Global oil shocks haven’t rattled India thanks to proactive measures. ‘Prices remain controlled – that’s policy success in action,’ he said.

The surge in LPG demand to 88 lakh from 50 lakh was opposition-orchestrated chaos, Gupta claimed, but authorities restored order promptly. ‘We safeguard citizens; they play games.’

Recalling Congress’s dark past – cash bundles in Parliament during 2008 vote-buying and Bofors – Gupta highlighted the clean governance under BJP. ‘This is the real divide: corruption versus integrity. The public hasn’t forgotten Congress’s legacy.’
