  • MP Mr. Deepak Badge visited public relations exhibition

    The Lok Sabha MP Shri Deepak Badge visited the District Public Relations Office on the occasion of Abujhmad Peace Half Marathon 2021, based on the exhibition of the past years of the Abujhmad Peace Half Marathon. He was accompanied by Rajya Sabha Member Mrs. Phoolodevi Netam, President of Handicrafts Development Board and local MLA Mr. Chandan Kashyap, District Panchayat President Mrs. Shyambati Netam, Municipality President Mrs. Sunita Manjhi, District Panchayat Vice President Mr. Devnath Usandi, along with Commissioner Bastar Division Mr. G.R. Churendra, Inspector General of Police Bastar Mr. Sundararajan P., Collector Mr. Dharmesh Kumar Sahu, Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat Mr. Rahul Dev, and other public representatives of the area were present. MP Mr. Badge visited the exhibition for a long time. On this occasion, Assistant Director Mr. Rahul Singh gave information about the photographs displayed. Member of Parliament Mr. Badge also said to include beautiful photographs of Abuzhmad Peace Half Marathon 2021 in the upcoming exhibitions. The guests were welcomed by giving Janman Patrika, publicity material and bouquets based on various schemes of the government. Employees of the District Public Relations Office were present on the occasion.

    MP Mr. Deepak Badge said after observing that it is a good thing that publicity material based on Janman Patrika and government schemes are also being distributed in the exhibition, it is commendable. You will be able to know about many schemes of the rural government of the region and the state. Assistant Director Mr. Rahul Singh said that Janman Patrika is being distributed free of cost. He said that on many such occasions, publicity materials supplied by the Public Relations Department have been distributed free of cost. Member of Parliament Shri Badge visited exhibitions organized by various departments of Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Education, Forest, CREDA, Public Health Engineering, Health.

  • Public Works Minister Mr. Sahu visited the Nava Chhattisgarh House being built in Dwarka, New Delhi.

    During his stay in New Delhi, Tamradhwaj Sahu visited the Nava Chhattisgarh Sadan under construction in Dwarka today. He directed the departmental officers and the construction agency to complete the construction work in full extent with full quality.
    It is noteworthy that the Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel had laid the online foundation stone of this new Chhattisgarh Sadan to be built in Dwarka, New Delhi from his Raipur residence office on 19 June 2020. Nava Chhattisgarh Sadan is being constructed at a cost of Rs 60 crore 42 lakh in Sector-13 Dwarka, New Delhi. For the construction of this house, 43 thousand 803 square feet of land has been purchased for Rs 22.50 crore. 10 suite rooms, 67 rooms, meeting hall including dining hall and waiting and residential tower for employees are being constructed in Nava Chhattisgarh Sadan.

  • Collector Shri Dharmesh Sahu visited Gulumkodo Multi Activity Center

    Dharmesh Kumar Sahu visited a multi-activity center developed for women self-help groups in the dependent village Gulumkodo of Kudhargaon, the village panchayat in Narayanpur district. During this time, he saw the chappals being prepared by the women self help groups, and was appreciated. Collector Shri Sahu purchased the slippers made by him to encourage the women of the group. He discussed with the women working in the Multi Activity Center about their work, market demand, availability of material, etc. and explained how to work diligently. Giving information to the Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat, Mr. Rahul Dev said that with the aim of making the rural women economically capable of governance, women of self-help groups have been trained in sandal making, sewing and processing. Now the women of Kudhargaon group will join all these works and will strengthen their economic status through this multi-activity center. He informed that in this multi-activity center, slippers will be made, sewing and processing of eamli will be done, eamali chapati will be made from eamli.
    Collector Shri Sahu visited Bhatpal Gauthan during his stay and participated in the puja being held at Devguri located there. During this time he interacted with women and Devguri priests of the self-help group present there. He instructed the members of the Gauthan committee to make Gauthan more organized and beautiful. Collector Shri Sahu also held discussions with the villagers of Chheribeda, villagers demanded construction of roads and culverts. On which the Collector took quick action and directed the Chief Executive Officer Janpad Panchayat Narayanpur to construct a two and a half kilometer second class road from Chheribeda to Khargaon, a 6 meter span bridge and a three and a half meter span bridge.
    Collector Mr. Sahu reached Eklavya Residential School in Chheribeda. Observed the necessary facilities of the children living in the school. During this, he directed the Assistant Commissioner of Tribal Development to make arrangements for internet for better education of children in the school. On this occasion, Assistant Commissioner of Tribal Development Shri A.C. Burman, Chief Executive Officer Janpad Panchayat Narayanpur Shri Ghanshyam Jangade and other officers and employees were present.

  • Chairman and Collector of Handicrafts Development Board observed Shiva temple flap

    Chairman of Handicraft Development Board Mr. Chandan Kashyap and Collector Shri Rajat Bansal visited the Shiva temple located in village Chapka of Bastar development block, famous as a pilgrim town of the district on Thursday, 21 January. During this, he also worshiped Lord Shiva and visited the entire temple complex. Collector Shri Rajat Bansal gave the gift of construction of boundary wall, beautification of water reservoirs, construction of Dharamshala building and reception gate, construction of community toilets and CC road etc. on the demand of temple committee and villagers. Apart from this, he also instructed the officers to ensure speedy disposal of drinking water and power problems in Tirthapara Chapka. Shri Bansal also instructed the sub-divisional officer of Rural Services Engineering Department to make a plan to develop the fair site by 15 February.
    On this occasion, MLA Shri Chandan Kashyap gave information about the importance of the pilgrim town Chapaka and said that it should be developed properly. Collector Shri Bansal said that work will be done to develop the pilgrim town Chapka in the old form and plan for its proper development. He also talked about developing a fair venue for organizing a grand fair like the old times in Chapaka. Mr. Bansal instructed the officers present on the spot to complete all these works within the stipulated time. During this, Deputy Collector Smt. Geeta Raist, Mr. Jogiram, Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Chapka, and officials of the temple committee and villagers were present.

  • Information of achievements of the state government is being accessible at the village level

    On the occasion of completion of 2 years of the current government of the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the Block level exhibition was organized by the Public Relations Department in Gram Panchayat Nari of Kurud Development Block today. Villagers were thronged in the camp, where various schemes and achievements of the state government were shown through pictures. Also, free brochures, pamphlets and booklets were distributed to the villagers. Sarpanch Shri Jagatpal Sahu, after observing the photographs exhibition organized in the village chowk of Gram Panchayat Nari, said that the functions of the government have been better displayed by this camp organized at village level. Innovations like Kisan Nyaya Yojana, Mukhyamantri Sucharnit Yojana, Narva-Garwa-Ghurwa-Bari, Lokparv, establishment of new tehsils have been shown in a pithy manner through photographs.
    On this occasion, Panch Shri Sukhram Sonkar, Shri Thaneshwar Sahu said that he liked the exhibition of cow, cow dung and gothan. The villagers Shri Gautam Pal and Shri Manharan Sahu said that the exhibition in the village has created a festive atmosphere. At the same time, information on the schemes of the government is being accessible by getting a free booklet. Rural Shri Manaharan Chakradhari described the exhibition as a medium of appropriate and excellent information. It is noteworthy that the exhibition is getting better response due to the weekly market in Gram Nari by the Public Relations Department. Children, elderly and youth are reaching in large numbers to observe this. During this, the villagers were also appealed to observe the exhibition following social distancing.

  • ISRO Launches PSLV-C50 Carrying India’s 42nd Communication Satellite From Sriharikota

    The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has successfully launched the communication satellite CMS-01 onboard the PSLV-C50 at 3:41 pm from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SHAR), Sriharikota on Thursday. Marking ISRO’s second launch during the COVID-19 pandemic, the PSLV will put in orbit India’s 42nd communications satellite which is expected to provide coverage over the entire country in cases of disaster management and satellite internet connection. The new CMS-01 satellite will replace the current GSAT-12 in orbit, which was launched in 2011. 

    The mission on Thursday follows the successful launch of PSLV-C49 (EOS-01) earth observation satellite and nine customer spacecraft on November 7 which was ISRO’s first mission of the year amid the COVID-19 pandemic. After the INSAT and GSAT series, the satellite launched on Thursday will be the first in the new CMS series of communication satellites. As per the latest update, the fourth stage of the satellite has been normal with the PS4 engine commencing operation.
