  • 11 Rice Mill Black Listed from Raipur, order issued

    In violation of the provisions given in the Chhattisgarh Custom Milling Rice Procurement Order 2016, Collector Dr. S. Bharatidasan has issued an order for blacklisting 11 rice mills of Raipur district. The rice mills, which have been ordered to be blacklisted, include Satyanarayana Nathulal Mill of Nevara, Munka Rice Mill of Sainodha Road Tilda Nevara, Panjwani Foods of Tulsi Nevara, Sanjay Grain Products Private Limited of Vidhan Sabha Road, Kanvaradih Khirora K Dashmesh Industries, NBA Foods of Khaulidbury Tehsil Tilda, Sri Balaji Rice Mill of Village Piprod Tehsil Abhanpur, Mahek Rice Industry of Village Kurra Nayapara, Hariom Industries of Navgaon Colliery Tehsil Abhanpur, Nirmala Rice Private Limited of Satpara Dhamtari Road Abhanpur and Arang Road Bude Kharora includes Gurunanak Rice Industries.
    The District Food Controller stated that any registered mill has to use half the milling capacity of its annual milling capacity for the purpose of custom milling. Paddy has not been lifted in the Kharif marketing year 2020-21 for the custom milling of government paddy on behalf of 11 Arwa Rice Millers of the district. Thus on behalf of these rice millers, there is a violation of clause 3 (2) (3) 4 (5) of Chhattisgarh Custom Milling Rice Procurement Order 2016 which is punishable under Section 3/7 of Essential Commodities Act 1955. The District Food Controller issued a show cause notice to the rice millers who were not interested in the custom milling work of the government paddy, as a result of not lifting the paddy and they have also been continuously directed to lift the paddy.

  • Ban on all major construction works of Nava Raipur including new Raj Bhavan, CM House, order issued

    In view of the circumstances arising in the state due to Corona infection, the Chhattisgarh government has decided to take even more stringent measures for austerity. In this regard, the measures being taken in the past have been expanded. Now the construction work of the new Raj Bhavan, Vidhan Sabha Bhawan, CM House, Ministers ‘and senior officials’ houses, construction of the new Circuit House has been stopped with immediate effect in Nava Raipur. Bhoomi Pujan of these works was done on 25 November 2019. On April 26, all the departments have been instructed by the Government of Chhattisgarh to continue to be economical in the financial year 2021-22, just like the previous year. Now even further, on the instructions of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the major construction works in Nava Raipur have been banned with immediate effect. On behalf of the Chief Engineer of the Public Works Department, orders have been issued to the concerned contractors to stop the construction work of Raj Bhavan, Vidhan Sabha Bhawan, CM House, Ministers and Senior Officers, construction of new circuit house with immediate effect. Along with this, the previously issued tenders for the works of 245 crore 16 lakh and 118 crore for the construction of new assembly building in Sector-19 have been canceled with immediate effect.

  • Swimming pools and water parks will be governed under conditions: Collector issued order

    Collector and District Magistrate Raipur Keeping in mind the prevention and prevention of infection of corona virus, Bharatidasan has issued an order to operate the swimming pool and water park located under Raipur district with certain conditions.

    According to this order, only 50 percent of the capacity of swimming pool and water park site will be included. Its entry and exit doors should be in separate and touch free mode. Strict adherence to respiratory etiquette should be ensured. Individuals at swimming pools and water park sites will inevitably use tissue paper, handkerchiefs or bent elbows while coughing or sneezing.

    Operators of swimming pools or water parks will ensure that the materials used are disposed of properly. Soaps, towels etc. will not be provided by the operators and people at the site, own soap, towels etc. will have to be used. Drinking water area, handwashing site, washroom, chair, table kept in swimming pool / water park site. Benches and surfaces that are not in touch-fee mode should be periodically cleaned with 01 percent sodium hypochloride or 70 percent alcohol based sanitizer.

    CCTV cameras should be installed in swimming pools or water park sites so that contact tracing can be done if a corona is infected. The water used must be filtered or chlorinated from time to time. Young children, older persons, pregnant women and people consuming medicines will not be allowed to go to swimming pool or water park site.

    Every person present in a swimming pool or water park site is required to use social and physical distancing, masking, and mandatory sanitizer from time to time. Sanitizer thermal screening, oximeter, handwash and Q management system are to be arranged at the site. The operator of the swimming pool or water park site shall be responsible for not entering the swimming pool or water park site if there is a fever in the thermal screening or any common or special symptoms related to the corona.
