Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate Dai-Didi Clinic on 19 November
On November 19, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate the Dai-Didi Clinic, a special clinic for women, on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister late Smt. Indira Gandhi. This special women’s medical mobile clinic launched for women will be the first unique clinic of its kind in the country. Only women patients will get free treatment facility in the trains of clinics. Only women staff and women doctors, women lab technicians and women ANMs will be employed in Dai-Didi clinic trains. With the commencement of this clinic, women workers and women and girls residing in slum areas will get treatment through women doctors near their home.
This clinic will be operated under the Chief Minister Urban Slum Health Scheme. At present, one Dai-Didi clinic for women is being started in three big municipal corporations of the state, Raipur, Bhilai and Bilaspur. In this clinic, along with first aid of women, there will be additional facility for breast cancer screening by women doctor, self breast examination of beneficiaries, regular and special screening of pregnant women etc. This clinic will be set up in the slum area on a predetermined day near Anganwadi in the cities in collaboration with the Women and Child Development Department. Along with this clinic, benefits of various beneficial projects of Women and Child Development Department for pregnant women, children etc. will also be provided.
Significantly, there is no separate screening room for women in general clinics and counselors in women. Bhupesh Baghel will do Bhoomipujan to build Tennis Sport Academy in the capital Raipur on 19 November
On November 19, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will perform Bhumi Pujan for the construction of Tennis Sport Academy in the capital Raipur through video conferencing from his residence office. Tennis Sport Academy will be constructed on 4 acres of land adjoining the Cultural Building of Agricultural University Raipur. For its construction, the State Government’s Sports and Youth Welfare Department has issued a work order giving administrative approval of Rs 17 crore 75 lakh. A time frame of 15 months has been set for the construction of the academy.
Under Tennis Sport Academy, Admin Building, Hostel Building and Tennis Court will be constructed. On the ground floor of Admin Building, waiting room, reception, two changing rooms, two halls, parking area and gym in first floor, dining area, waiting area and second floor VIP building. The lodge and 3500 capacity pavilion will be built. Reception & Waiting Room, Superintendent Room, Office, VIP in the ground floor of Hostel Building. Room and parking, carrom room in first floor, table tennis room, kitchen, dining. In the second floor, 17 rooms, house keeping and in the third floor, 17 room house keeping will be constructed, as well as an International Tennis Court (Synthetic Court) and 5 Precatis Court (Synthetic Court). -

Registration of farmers for paddy purchase is now till November 17
In view of the facilities of the farmers, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has extended the registration period of farmers for purchase of paddy in Kharif marketing year 2020-21 to 17 November 2020. The order has been issued by the state government on the instructions of the Chief Minister. The Secretary, Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection has sent instructions to all the divisional commissioners, all collectors and registrars, cooperatives and managing director, APEX Bank Naya Raipur, to send a copy of the order and register the farmers by November 17. Earlier, the last date of registration of farmers was set till 10 November 2020.

Ban on sale and use of firecrackers across the country from midnight to November 30: NGT
Burning and selling of firecrackers has been banned in the entire NCR since midnight of November 9. This ban will continue till the night of 30 November. Explain that in view of the increasing pollution, the National Green Tribunal (NGT) has imposed a ban in NCR since Monday.
Know that the Delhi government has already banned the sale and use of firecrackers in the capital. The decision will apply to all cities of NCR including Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Gurugram, Faridabad, Baghpat.
In this regard, a bench headed by NGT chief Justice AK Goel has directed to ban the sale and use of firecrackers in all the cities of the country where the air quality has been very poor in November last year.
However, people of those cities can use green firecrackers on Diwali, Chhath, Christmas, New Year and other festivals where the air quality is in the middle category. But only two hours will be allowed to burn green firecrackers.
The NGT has directed the Pollution Control Committees / Boards of all states and union territories to conduct special campaigns for pollution control in the wake of the Karona epidemic. At the same time, the Chief Secretaries and Directors General of Police, Commissioners of all the states and union territories have been directed to issue circulars and ensure compliance with the ban on the use of firecrackers.

Land acquisition for setting up Nagarnar Steel Plant will be completed by the end of November
The Cabinet Secretary of the Government of India, Shri Rajiv Goba today inquired from the Chief Secretaries of the state about the progress of multi-purpose road project-rail project-iron-steel projects being constructed in the states through video conferencing. Mr. Goba inquired about the steel plant to be set up in Nagarnar village in Bastar district of Chhattisgarh. Chief Secretary Shri R.P. The Board informed that out of 61 villages affected by the construction of Nagarnar Steel Plant, land acquisition and other processes have been completed in 57 villages. The process of land acquisition in the remaining four villages will be completed by the end of November 2020. Xiaomi will launch its super compact Mi power bank on November 5
Chinese mobile manufacturer Xiaomi has announced that it will launch a new power bank in India on November 5 under the Mi brand. This will be Xiaomi’s most compact power bank.
