In a bustling Monday morning scene in Deoghar, Jharkhand, BJP parliamentarian Nishikant Dubey and his wife stepped out to vote in the ongoing municipal elections. Across the state’s 48 urban bodies, citizens are using paper ballots to choose their local leaders – a process Dubey says exposes the futility of anti-EVM rhetoric.

The MP highlighted the inefficiencies firsthand: at his polling booth, progress was glacial, with just 40 votes recorded where hundreds were anticipated. He accused the ruling Hemant Soren administration of regressive policies by shunning electronic voting machines, which he claims streamline the democratic process.

Turning his attention to Rahul Gandhi, Dubey dismissed the Congress heir’s persistent claims of electoral fraud via EVMs. ‘Post these municipal poll results, Rahul’s EVM delusion will vanish,’ he asserted confidently. ‘BJP triumphs regardless of the method – be it machine or paper.’

Dubey’s family outing to the polls doubled as a public appeal for high voter turnout. He also lambasted Congress for crude protests during an artificial intelligence program, likening their antics to the party’s alleged moral bankruptcy.

These elections mark a crucial test for Jharkhand’s political landscape, pitting BJP’s organizational strength against the incumbent JMM-led coalition. With ballots in play, every vote counts slower but surely, potentially reshaping local governance dynamics. Observers note that urban voters, often overlooked in state politics, could deliver surprises when results are announced.

Gautam Adani, the powerhouse behind Adani Group, made headlines with a devotional detour to Jharkhand’s iconic Baba Baidyanath Temple. Sunday’s visit saw the billionaire tycoon immerse in rituals at this Jyotirlinga shrine, offering water to Lord Shiva in a ceremony led by temple priests.

Elaborate security measures were in place, with police forces securing the entire area. Speaking to reporters after darshan, Adani revealed, ‘This has been a long-cherished dream. The serenity here is unparalleled. My prayers were for the well-being and progress of Jharkhand’s people and the nation at large.’

The day wasn’t just about faith. Adani’s subsequent meeting with MP Nishikant Dubey at his Godda home fueled talks of potential industrial talks, possibly touching on local growth projects.

En route to business matters, Adani proceeded to Pirpainti in Bihar, where his group plans a massive 2400 MW ultra super critical thermal power facility. This site visit marks a key step in the project’s advancement.

Balancing spiritual fulfillment with strategic oversight, Adani’s trip exemplifies his multifaceted leadership. District administration’s coordination ensured devotees faced no hurdles, reflecting thoughtful planning for such high-profile visits.

Parliamentary drama unfolded in New Delhi as BJP parliamentarian Nishikant Dubey launched a privilege motion against Rahul Gandhi, explicitly referencing the 1978 expulsion of Indira Gandhi. This bold step aims to strip the Congress leader of his Lok Sabha seat and bar him from future polls, citing breaches of House decorum.

The catalyst was Gandhi’s outspoken assault on the Centre’s trade pact with the United States during a recent session. He claimed the agreement undermines India’s sovereignty and citizen welfare, prompting immediate backlash from BJP lawmakers who sought to erase his comments from official proceedings.

On X, Dubey posted archival clips from December 1978, when a privilege committee found Indira Gandhi guilty of contempt for obstructing investigations into Sanjay Gandhi’s Maruti venture amid the Emergency. The original motion, tabled by then-PM Morarji Desai, passed after heated arguments, leading to her ejection from Parliament and incarceration until the session’s end.

Dubey meticulously outlined the process: An original motion stands alone, open for House approval, debate, and vote. He argues Gandhi’s statements constitute a direct affront to parliamentary norms, warranting identical repercussions. ‘History must repeat for privilege violators,’ he declared.

The government, through Minister Kiren Rijiju, paused its parallel initiative since Dubey’s private member’s motion takes precedence. Congress hit back, framing it as vendetta politics and defending Gandhi’s prerogative to challenge executive overreach on trade, agriculture, and energy fronts.

This saga revives the ghosts of 1978, when political fortunes swung dramatically. Indira’s disqualification was temporary, overturned in 1981, but it marked a low point in her career. Analysts view Dubey’s tactic as a counteroffensive to blunt opposition momentum, potentially reshaping Lok Sabha dynamics.

With the motion now in play, all eyes are on Speaker’s ruling and subsequent proceedings. It could either fizzle out or explode into a full-blown constitutional crisis, mirroring the intense partisanship of yesteryears.

BJP firebrand Nishikant Dubey has issued a direct challenge to Rahul Gandhi for an open debate, accusing the Congress scion of peddling a ‘false narrative’ on US-India trade deals and their impact on cotton farmers.

Responding sharply to Gandhi’s X post, Dubey tore into the claims that US imposes 18% duties on Indian apparel while offering Bangladesh duty-free entry. ‘This is deliberate misinformation aimed at farmers,’ Dubey charged from New Delhi.

Calling for transparency, Dubey listed key facts needing debate: India’s annual cotton production stats, the indispensable role of US cotton imports for textile competitiveness, and the economic pressures on domestic mills. He emphasized how imports fill seasonal shortages, bolstering exports that sustain jobs.

Dubey painted a comprehensive picture of the sector’s challenges. Indian farmers grapple with fluctuating yields due to weather and pests, while mills face global competition. ‘Rahul’s selective outrage ignores how US imports actually protect our industry,’ he countered.

The verbal salvo didn’t stop at economics. Dubey linked Gandhi’s rhetoric to broader concerns, questioning influences from international players like George Soros and their overlap with domestic insurgencies. He positioned himself ready for any platform to unpack these threads publicly.

Contextually, this comes after Dubey’s Lok Sabha speech demanding Gandhi’s expulsion, referencing Indira Gandhi’s 1978 precedent. With trade negotiations in focus, Dubey’s gambit pressures the opposition to substantiate claims.

Observers see this as BJP’s preemptive strike ahead of key legislative battles. A debate, if it materializes, could spotlight real farmer welfare measures versus populist posturing, influencing rural voter sentiment nationwide.

Samajwadi Party stalwart Ramgopal Yadav turned the tables on BJP’s Nishikant Dubey amid demands to disqualify Rahul Gandhi from Parliament. In a pointed response from the national capital, Yadav declared that Dubey’s own Lok Sabha seat should be the first to go if such motions are tabled.

‘No one matches Dubey’s level of vitriol,’ the senior SP leader quipped, framing the controversy as a blatant case of the pot calling the kettle black. This verbal showdown underscores deepening political divides in India’s polarized landscape.

Delving into policy critiques, Yadav tackled Gandhi’s legal surrender and its implications for farmers. He cautioned against unrestricted foreign grain imports under zero tariffs, arguing it would devastate local farmers’ livelihoods. Imports extend to animal feed, he added, threatening the agrarian economy.

Yadav painted a vivid scenario of imported realities clashing with Indian traditions: ‘US livestock gets meat-based feed. Cows consuming that would produce tainted milk, unfit for puja or havan.’ He positioned this as an assault on Hindu sanctity, with self-proclaimed piety masking unholy agendas.

The SP MP promised robust resistance from his party and anticipated mass farmer uprisings. Shifting to electoral foul play, he lambasted the BJP for allegedly using Form-7 to purge voter rolls, with insiders tipping off which booths face deletions—a tactic Akhilesh Yadav has repeatedly flagged.

As political tempers flare, Yadav’s broadside signals opposition unity against perceived BJP overreach in both policy and polls.

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has unleashed a fierce defense of the Modi government’s border policy, lambasting Congress for politicizing sensitive military issues. The trigger: opposition claims of Chinese intrusions and…

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has unleashed a fierce defense of the Modi government’s border policy, lambasting Congress for politicizing sensitive military issues. The trigger: opposition claims of Chinese intrusions and uproar over ex-Army Chief Gen MM Naravane’s revelations in his new book.

Taking to X, Rijiju emphasized that under Prime Minister Modi’s stewardship—a leader with proven experience—the government prioritizes national interest over cheap political points. He referenced the long-suppressed 1962 Henderson Brooks-Bhagat report, which exposed Nehru-era blunders leading to a crushing loss to Chinese forces. ‘We’ve kept it secret,’ Rijiju stated firmly, ‘not for cover-ups, but to shield defense from political exploitation.’

Adding weight to his stance, Rijiju reposted a November 2024 video from the Line of Actual Control. It captures him negotiating with PLA soldiers beside Indian troops during a Diwali visit, symbolizing proactive diplomacy amid tensions.

BJP firebrand Nishikant Dubey escalated the counterattack, vowing to establish a library dedicated to the Nehru-Gandhi legacy of corruption and national harm. In a viral video, he detailed plans to compile books on everything from partition woes to hidden archives that never saw daylight. ‘This will be a treasure trove for students and historians,’ Dubey said, calling for book recommendations from the public.

The MP’s resolve was fueled by public outpouring after his Lok Sabha speech on the family’s scandals. His project aims to centralize evidence of socio-economic damages inflicted by past policies, ensuring future accountability.

This exchange highlights deepening divides on national security narratives. While Congress pushes for disclosures, the ruling side argues for restraint to avoid compromising ongoing strategies against persistent border threats.

In a heated press briefing, BJP parliamentarian Nishikant Dubey accused Rahul Gandhi of paralyzing Lok Sabha proceedings for three days by invoking excerpts from a yet-to-be-published book. This dramatic revelation…

In a heated press briefing, BJP parliamentarian Nishikant Dubey accused Rahul Gandhi of paralyzing Lok Sabha proceedings for three days by invoking excerpts from a yet-to-be-published book. This dramatic revelation came amid discussions on the President’s address, where Gandhi’s remarks sparked chaos.

‘Parliament has been held ransom,’ Dubey fumed to reporters. ‘Gandhi lacks even basic knowledge of House rules. Quoting an unprinted book? It’s beyond comprehension.’ He painted Gandhi as an ineffective leader incapable of coherent support or critique of the address.

Turning the tables, Dubey unleashed a list of prohibited books critical of the Nehru-Gandhi lineage. Leading the charge was ‘India Independent’ by Charles, banned decades ago for alleging Nehru’s role in India’s division alongside Mountbatten and Edwina. The fictional ‘Edwina and Nehru’ purportedly chronicles their rendezvous timings and Nehru’s political apathy.

Dubey delved deeper into ‘The Life of Indira Nehru Gandhi,’ citing claims of her extramarital liaisons, KGB money trails influencing policy, and moral lapses. ‘Nehru: A Political Biography’ accuses Nehru of duplicity, betrayal, and divisive actions spanning over four decades, plus scandalous relationships.

Further revelations included ‘Beginners and Nehru Age,’ with M.O. Mathai’s admissions of Indira living as his wife for 12 years amid graft allegations. Dubey name-dropped additional banned works like ‘Ceasefire,’ ‘The Art of India,’ ‘Nepal,’ ‘Captive Kashmir,’ and ‘Himalayan Blunder,’ arguing they merit discussion over phantom texts.

This counteroffensive highlights BJP’s strategy to reclaim narrative control, questioning Congress’s historical sanctity while exposing procedural lapses. As debates rage, these literary grenades could redefine opposition accountability.

BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has leveled serious accusations against the Congress party, claiming that their actions are unparalleled. These allegations are not recent, but are based on a case from 70 years ago. In a post on X, Dubey stated that the Congress party is filled with wealth and that in 1956, they allegedly sold the Mining and Petroleum Ministry to Serajuddin. Dubey’s post further asserts that this sale was acknowledged by Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru in the Lok Sabha. He claims that Serajuddin & Company was known for obtaining manganese ore leases. Dubey added that the then minister K.D. Malaviya was investigated by Supreme Court judge Das, resulting in four charge sheets. Malaviya resigned in 1963. Dubey alleges that to prevent the Gandhi family’s corruption from surfacing, they were jailed in the 1977 Mumbai High oil scam, but the case was withdrawn again in 1980. Earlier, on October 3rd, Nishikant Dubey accused the Congress of imprisoning the former Maharani Gayatri Devi of Jaipur and her son, Colonel Bhawani Singh. He stated that Bhawani Singh, who fought in the 1962 war and significantly contributed to the 1971 war, and his mother were imprisoned in 1975. Dubey claimed that Indira Gandhi was jealous of the beauty of Maharani Gayatri Devi, leading to their imprisonment on charges of drug trafficking, hawala, and arms trafficking by the Congress in 1975. The Congress has dismissed Dubey’s allegations against Indira Gandhi as baseless. There has been no response from the Congress on this new accusation, but some X users have questioned Dubey. One X user asked what he has done in his 11 years in power.

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) Chief Raj Thackeray delivered a sharp rebuke to BJP MP Nishikant Dubey following Dubey’s controversial comments regarding violence against Hindi speakers in Maharashtra. Dubey’s statement, “Marathi logon ko hum yahan pe patak patak ke maarenge” (We will beat up Marathi people here), drew an immediate reaction from Thackeray.

Thackeray responded directly, stating, “A BJP MP said, ‘Marathi logon ko hum yahan pe patak patak ke maarenge’…You come to Mumbai. Mumbai ke samundar mein dubo dubo ke maarenge” (We will drown you in the sea of Mumbai). This statement reflects the escalating tensions surrounding language-based disputes.

At a public meeting in Mumbai, Thackeray emphasized that he did not intend to spark a language-based controversy. He added, “Beware, anything can happen with you. I am a Hindu but Hindi cannot be imposed on me. If anyone has a right over this region, it is we (Marathis). You are the sons of Maharashtra, others have come from outside. If someone comes here and does something a little too much, then beat them up.”

Meanwhile, Nishikant Dubey has stood by his controversial statements. He stated, “I am saying this again, I stand by my statements. This nation is diverse, and all its people have a strong affection for their region…If Maharashtra is a part of this country, then anyone can be settled anywhere in this country…But they beat up those who are Hindi language speakers…Even today, only 31-32% Marathi speakers live in Mumbai…I accept that Maharashtra has a huge contribution to the economy, I have huge respect for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.”
