Virendra Gahwai, Bilaspur. Citing development work, the Railways has again cancelled 50 trains passing through Chhattisgarh. These trains will not run on different days from 19 June to 10 July. Due to this, passengers travelling to Kolkata, Bihar, Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh will have to face problems.

According to the railway administration, the operation of trains has been cancelled due to development work in Bhopal division of West Central Railway and Bilaspur division of South East Central Railway. Work is being done to connect Malkhedi-Mahadevkhedi railway stations of Bhopal Railway Division with another railway line. This work will run from 16 June to 10 July.

Bilaspur. The accused deceived the youth by promising to buy the old 5 rupee note for 5 lakh 12 thousand rupees. Falling into his trap, the youth lost 2 lakh 21 thousand 600 rupees in different installments. Chakarbhatta police has registered a case.

According to the police, Roshan Dhuri, son of Sanwat Ram (25 years), resident of village Chhatauna of Chakarbhatta area, works as a helper in Nova Plant of Dagauri. On May 1, 2024, an advertisement was posted in the youth’s Instagram ID, which said that 5 lakh 12 thousand rupees would be received on exchanging the old 5 rupee note. The youth also had an old note. In such a situation, the youth sent a message and agreed to sell the note. At 5.30 pm, an unknown person called the youth’s mobile number. The person on the other end introduced himself as Vipin Gupta, a resident of Mumbai, Maharashtra. He said that an army man has left with 5 lakh 12 thousand rupees. He has reached Sargaon. After some time, the youth received a call from another number and he said that he would reach Sargaon with the money. But he said that he would give the money after getting the permission code. The youth deposited 13 thousand rupees online for the permission code. In this way, by making different excuses, the fraudster cheated the youth of 2 lakh 21 thousand 600 rupees. After which the young man realized that he had been cheated. Chakarbhatta police have registered a case against the unknown accused.

Threatened to send to jail if 1.25 lakh is not paid

The accused were asking for a transfer of Rs. 1.25 lakh. The youth refused to give the money. On this, the accused started threatening to implicate him in a false case. They also threatened to file a complaint in the cyber cell and send him to jail and impose a fine of Rs. 3 lakhs if he did not give the money. They even threatened the youth by sending obscene videos on his mobile.

Bisahu Singh (28 years) of Salhewara village of Chilfi police station area committed suicide by consuming poison. As soon as the incident came to light, his wife Baisakhin Bai (26 years) also decided to end her life and hanged herself in the house by making a noose of rope. Although the neighbors tried to save her, they could not succeed. Bisahu, who had consumed poison, was immediately taken to the hospital, where he died during treatment. The couple also has a five-year-old son.

We are talking about Hridesh Prasad Dubey and his son Pawan from Manendragarh, Chhattisgarh. Their story is not only inspiring but also an example of a father’s indomitable courage and love. Pawan’s mother, Savitri Devi, died of jaundice just six months after his birth. After this tragic incident, Hridesh not only played the role of a father but also of a mother.

When Pawan was one year old, it was discovered that he was handicapped in his legs. His bones had broken 18 times, but Hridesh’s courage never broke. When Pawan was three years old, Hridesh started taking him to school on his shoulders. Gradually Pawan grew up and it was not possible to carry him on the shoulders. Due to financial crisis, it was difficult to pay the school bus fees, so Hridesh arranged a rickshaw for Pawan. Pawan completed his 12th from Saraswati Shishu Mandir Manendragarh by sitting in this rickshaw and later got a graduation degree from Government Vivekanand Mahavidyalaya.

Today Pawan is working as the head teacher in the primary school located in Chainpur Gram Panchayat and is spreading the light of knowledge. Pawan leaves no stone unturned in serving his father Hridesh Prasad Dubey, who is now 74 years old, day and night.

He told in a choked voice, “When Pawan was six months old, his wife passed away. I played the role of a father as well as a mother. Today, after studying, Pawan has become a teacher, he is the head teacher of his school and is my only support. Just like I understood the importance of education at that time and taught him by sitting him on my shoulders, today he is connecting rural children to the mainstream of education. I am very happy about this.”

Hridesh Prasad Dubey used to work as a Pandit. Despite financial difficulties, he got his son Pawan educated in a private school. After his wife’s death, Hridesh had to spend more time at home to take care of the child, due to which he missed many work opportunities and faced financial crisis. Still, he did not lose courage and succeeded in giving Pawan a bright future.
