Natarajan, who bowled a maximum 71 yorkers among all pacers in the last IPL, dismissed big names such as Dhoni and AB de Villiers during the season.

Kohli Fans Hit Back at Sunil Gavaskar for Hinting at Bias in Indian Cricket Team
The debate around Indian skipper Virat Kohli’s decision to return home after the first Test match against Australia to attend the birth of his and Bollywood actor and wife Anushka Sharma’s first child once again heated up on social media after veteran cricketer-turned-commentator Sunil Gavaskar penned a column in Sportstar.
Indicating that there’s a divide in the Indian cricket team, Gavaskar said that bowlers like Ravichandran Ashwin are sidelined if they do not pick “heaps of wickets” in a game while the established batsmen in the team have it easy and are awarded chances upon chances despite their failure.
The veteran opener added that the newcomer T Natarajan was “forced” to stay back as a net bowler after the birth of his daughter following his brilliant performances in the limited-overs cricket.

Showing replay on screen before 15 seconds was costly: Virat Kohli on DRS
India captain Virat Kohli wasn’t happy that his team lost out on a perfect DRS call just because replay of the delivery bowled to Matthew Wade was shown on giant screen before the permissible limit of 15 seconds.
India lost the third T20 International by 12 runs and one of the reasons could be attributed to the fact that Wade, who could have been adjudged leg before off T Natarajan at a score of 50, got a lucky reprieve and added 30 more runs.“That lbw was a strange one because we were still discussing whether the ball was going down and within the 15-second time, they showed the replay on the screen,” Kohli said at post match conference on Tuesday.

T Natarajan Terms Maiden Outing With Team India As “Dream Come True Moment”
India fast-bowler T Natarajan took to social media on Wednesday to thank his teammates for their constant support and encouragement after India won the three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series on Tuesday. Natarajan posted a few pictures and termed his maiden outing with Team India as a “dream come true moment”. “The last few months have been surreal. My maiden outing with #TeamIndia and we won the T20I series. A dream come true moment made special by the champion bunch. I thank my teammates for their constant support and encouragement. Thank you everyone for your love & support,” T Natarajan captioned the pictures on Twitter.
Natarajan made his international debut against Australia in the third One-Day International (ODI) in Canberra which India won by 13 runs. He picked up two wickets in that game in his 10-over spell.
In the three-match T20I series, Natarajan was the pick of the bowlers and finished the three games as the leading wicket-taker across both sides. He picked up six wickets at an impressive economy rate of 6.91 in the three matches in his first T20I series.

Pandya handed over the Man of the Series award to Natarajan
Hardik Pandya, the all-rounder of the Indian cricket team and made the Man of the Series of the T20 series against Australia on Tuesday, has handed over this award to the left-arm fast bowler T Natarajan of the team. Pandya was given the Man of the Series title for his outstanding performance in the T20 series against Australia. He played an important role in winning the series 2–1, thanks to his brilliant finish, in addition to scoring an important 78 runs and one wicket in three T20 matches.
Pandya shared a photo with Natarajan with her Twitter handle after the match. He wrote the caption with his photo, “Natarajan, your performance in this series was excellent. Performing such a good game while presenting for India in difficult conditions shows a lot about your talent and hard work. Natarajan bhai, from my side you are entitled to the man of the series. Congratulations on winning Team India. “
This message of Hardik Pandya went viral on social media and this post has received 91 thousand likes and 12.8 thousand retweets in just three hours. India vs Australia 2020 Live Score, 3rd T20I Match at Sydney: IND Opt to Bowl, Team Unchanged
Hardik Pandya’s heroics with the bat helped India seal the three-match series with a thrilling victory in the second T20I in Sydney. They will return to the same venue on Tuesday looking for a big series sweep. India would be delighted that they have won the series without the likes of Bumrah and Rohit Sharma. It has been a complete team effort with no real weak link in the XI. KL Rahul has provided India with the starts, Dhawan produced a series-defining performance while Kohli looked in fine touch in the second T20I in Sydney and Jadeja and Hardik have been the finishers at the death. However, the standout performer for India in the series so far has been their left-arm seamer, T Natarajan. He has picked 5 wickets in the two matches at an economy rate of just 6.25 and has continued from where he left in the IPL 2020. Chahal won his team the match as a concussion substitute while Washington Sundar was brilliantly restrictive in Canberra.
Australia’s second string of fast bowlers – the likes of Andrew Tye, Daniel Sams and Sean Abbott – got exposed in Sydney but in all likelihood will get another chance to make amends at the same venue on Tuesday. The home team are unlikely to risk Hazlewood for the dead rubber. There is a possibility of Aaron Finch making a return which will boost the batting line-up.

Natarajan, Chahal shine as India beats Australia by 11 runs to take 1-0 lead
A spirited all-round performance from India saw them register a comprehensive 11-run win over Australia in the first T20I here at the Manuka Oval on Friday. The 1-0 lead in the three-match series is just how the visitors would have wanted to start after losing the ODI series 2-1.
If KL Rahul (51) and Ravindra Jadeja (unbeaten 44 off 23 balls) guided India to a respectable 161/7 in their 20 overs, Yuzvendra Chahal — brought in as concussion substitute for Jadeja — took the stage by storm with ball in hand and finished with match-winning figures of 3/25. Not to forget the brilliant show from debutant T Natarajan as he picked three wickets for 30 runs from his four.
Chahal took the field in the second innings after all-rounder Jadeja was hit on the helmet in the last over of the India innings and the BCCI medical team decided to assess the player before allowing him to get on with proceedings. Chahal was brilliantly supported by Natarajan as the former changed the momentum of the game despite not being named in the initial playing XI.
Chasing a decent target of 162, Aaron Finch and D’Arcy Short provided a flying start. The duo added 53 runs in the powerplay and smashed Indian bowlers across the park.
Chahal, in his first over, removed skipper Finch (35) in the eighth over. Steve Smith joined Short in the middle and accumulated 16 runs for the second wicket. The team then suffered a blow as they lost two quick wickets in successive overs. Chahal struck again and bagged in-form batsman Smith (12) while Natarajan caught explosive batter Glenn Maxwell (2) in front of the wickets.
Short and all-rounder Moises Henriques then stitched a partnership in pursuit of the target. The duo dragged the side from 75/3 to 113/4 before Short was picked by the Tamil Nadu speedster in the 15th over. Short played a slow knock of 34 runs off 38 balls and held one end up.

Dhawan did not review after being out against Hyderabad, Yuvraj Singh trolled
In the qualifier two match played on Sunday in IPL 2020, Delhi Capitals (DC) made the final entry by defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad by 17 runs. Shikhar Dhawan, who was in good form in the tournament, batted brilliantly for Delhi. He scored 78 runs off 50 balls with the help of six fours and two sixes. On the third ball of the 19th over, Sandeep Sharma dismissed Dhawan lbw. Dhawan returned straight to the pavilion after the umpire was declared LBW and did not take a review.
Dhawan could have survived if he had taken a review, knowing in replays that the ball was not hitting the stumps. He was trolled by Yuvraj Singh, the former cricketer of Team India. At the end of Delhi’s innings, Yuvraj tweeted and said, “The bowlers made a great comeback in the last two overs. There was not a single boundary. Natarajan and Sandeep Sharma deserve praise. Kama did the work in a pressure match. Man in Farm Shikhar Dhawan, but the name is Jatt ji. What brother of DRS. You will be forgotten forever.
Shikhar Dhawan’s half-century led Delhi to a big score of 189 for three in the first 20 overs and then later bowled Hyderabad to eight with the superb bowling of Cagiso Rabada (4/29) and Marcus Stoinis (3/26). Won 17 runs by stopping for 178 runs on the wicket. Marcus Stoinis, who came in to open the innings with Dhawan, batted in a wobbly style. Stoinis scored 38 runs off 27 balls. He hit five fours and a six. Sharmon Hetmyer remained unbeaten on 42 off 22 balls.
