Posting on X, Nabin detailed his spiritual sojourn to Barekuri village’s Namghar in Tinsukia, a beacon of the Moran tribe’s devotion and cultural synergy. He portrayed the village as a model of coexistence with wildlife, including the endangered Hoolock Gibbons featured in PM Modi’s radio address. Locals affectionately call them ‘Holo Bandor,’ and they share the space harmoniously with villagers.

‘Faith, culture, and ecology blend seamlessly here,’ Nabin observed, adding that he prayed at the Namghar for national well-being and progress.

The day continued with a hospitable breakfast at Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal’s home in Dibrugarh’s Lakhinagar, where Nabin savored authentic Assamese flavors and hospitality.

Nabin passionately championed Assam’s tea sector, known for its vast emerald landscapes and premium tea with a distinctive taste that captivates global markets. He insisted that the industry’s international prestige stems directly from the laborers’ perseverance and discipline. ‘Their labor is the backbone of our economy and a proud pillar of our heritage,’ he stated.
