  • Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike to unfurl the flag in Raipu

    Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike will hoist the joint parade by hoisting the flag at 9 am in the main function held at the Police Parade Ground in the capital Raipur on the occasion of Republic Day on 26 January. On this occasion, Governor Ms. Uike will honor the Corona Warriors of the state along with conveying their message to the public.

    Ms. Uike will arrive at the venue at 8.59 am as per the scheduled ceremony of the main event. The Governor will take the salute by flag hoisting and guard of honor at 9 am. From 9.02 am to 9.22 am, the Governor will send a message to the people of the state. Ms. Uike will honor the Corona Warriors of the state from 9.23 am to 9.29 am. The program will conclude at 9.30 am.

    Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike paid floral tributes at her portrait on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji at Raj Bhavan. The Governor said that during the prime ministership of Shri Vajpayeeji, I had the opportunity to be nominated as a Rajya Sabha Member and as a Rajya Sabha MP spoke on many important issues in the House and also made many trips abroad. The lessons they teach matter a lot in my life. Every word uttered as his blessing encouraged me.

    Shri Vajpayee embodied other important schemes like Swarnim Chaturbhuj Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana during his prime ministership, which strengthened the infrastructure of our country. He did important work for the strengthening of rural and agricultural sector, National Agricultural Policy-2000 was declared during his time, through which important works were done for upgrading the standard of living of farmers and rural infrastructure was also strengthened. His idea was to welfare the last person of the society. As a result of this thinking, Antyodaya Anna Yojana was introduced during his reign, which provided food grains to the families coming below the poverty line at affordable rates. Shri Vajpayee ji created the state of Chhattisgarh and it is the result of his developmental attitude that today the state of Chhattisgarh is moving rapidly towards development. He was also a powerful orator, writer and poet, whose poetry written is touching and inspiring. By repeating these lines written by him, I again salute them –

  • Governor expresses deep grief over the demise of Dr. Pandit Chaitanya Goswami

    Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike expressed deep grief over the demise of 109-year-old Dr. Pandit Chaitanya Goswami, a spiritual personality, a founding member of Banaras University and a disciple of Mahamana Madanmohan Malaviya, a resident of Dongargaon in Rajnandgaon district. The Governor paid tribute to him and prayed to God for the peace of his soul and expressed deep condolences to his bereaved family.

  • Newly appointed Chief Secretary Shri Jain paid courtesy to Governor

    Newly appointed Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain paid courtesy to Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike at Raj Bhavan. The Governor wishes him for his new responsibilities. On this occasion, Chief Secretary Shri Jain presented ‘First Girmitia’ and ‘Bhooto na Bhavishti’ books and panicle to the Governor and Additional Chief Secretary Shri Subrata Sahu presented ‘Bharat Darshan’ and ‘Amcho Bastar’ books and panicle.   • Governor wishes on Chhattisgarh Official Language Day

    Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike has extended heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Chhattisgarh Official Language Day. He has said that Chhattisgarhi is a very sweet spoken language, we should make every effort to preserve and enhance it. The Governor has said that the use of Chhattisgarhi language should be encouraged more and more so that the coming generations are familiar with it, so that the art and culture of this place can be protected.

  • Governor read the Preamble of the Constitution

    Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike read the Preamble to the Constitution at Raj Bhavan on the occasion of Constitution Day. This preamble states that ‘We the people of India, to make India a fully sovereign, secular, secular, democratic republic and all its citizens social, economic and political justice, thought, expression, faith, religion and worship. It is hereby adopted, enacted and surrendered by the Constitution on 26 November 1949, determined to achieve equality of freedom, prestige and opportunity, and to increase the fraternity that ensures the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the nation.   • Mr. Harshal Nahata paid courtesy call on Governor

    Law student Mr. Harshal Nahata paid courtesy call on Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike at Raj Bhavan here. He presented poems based on menstruation to the Governor. He asked the Governor to conduct a state-level awareness campaign in the society about the use of bio-degradable sanitary napkins in the state of Chhattisgarh and the government arranged for the supply and distribution of it to all the poor sections, tribal class and all other women Go Mr. Nahata also submitted a letter to the Governor in this regard.
