In a display of youthful dominance, India’s Srishti Kiran, just 13 years old, conquered the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors J30 girls’ singles event in Huamantla, Mexico. She outlasted Mexico’s Herman in the championship match, 6-4, 6-4, achieving a coveted hat-trick of ITF junior titles and marking another milestone in her rapid ascent.

Her path to glory featured a semi-final masterclass where, down 2-4, Srishti unleashed a barrage of winners to win 10 straight games against Miranda Sofia Escamilla Morales, securing a 6-4, 6-0 rout. This turnaround exemplified her ability to thrive under pressure against older, experienced opponents.

Hailing from Bengaluru, Srishti honed her skills at the KSLTA before making waves internationally. In 2025, she stormed to victory at the ITF J30 in Cabarete, Dominican Republic, claiming both singles and doubles titles alongside Brayna Howellgrave from the Bahamas, overcoming Britain’s Jessica Morrison and Eva Moss in the doubles final.

Her pivotal role in India’s inaugural ATF Under-12 Girls Team Championship win in 2023, where she remained undefeated, drew global attention. Selected for the ATF’s orange ball program, she now trains at Florida’s elite RPS Academy with coach Gabe Jaramillo, positioning her for even greater achievements.

Srishti’s triumphs underscore India’s growing depth in junior tennis, promising a bright future for the sport in the country.
