Panchkula Police detailed their actions: the controversial video is off YouTube, with ongoing efforts to scrub it from music apps, channels, and social reels. The charges include violations under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Section 296 and laws prohibiting indecent portrayal of women.

Critics slammed the video for depicting underage girls in school attire ditching books and bags, paired with lyrics that degrade females using offensive slang like ‘Badshala’ in a school context. This misrepresentation of education has fueled public anger.

Special teams from Haryana Police are conducting relentless searches across locations. Badshah’s case serves as a stark warning to artists pushing boundaries with explicit content, highlighting the growing regulatory heat on digital music distribution.

Shilpa Shetty’s legal representative informed the court that the actress had plans to attend a YouTube event in Colombo scheduled from October 25th to October 29th. When questioned about an invitation for the event, the lawyer indicated it would be obtained once travel clearance was granted. However, the court’s response was firm: a deposit of Rs 60 crore related to fraud allegations must be made before any travel plans could be considered. The next hearing for this case is slated for October 14, 2025.

The ongoing legal troubles are linked to allegations of a conspiracy to defraud businessman Deepak Kothari of over Rs 60 crore. Kothari claims that funds purportedly for business expansion between 2015 and 2023 were instead misused for personal expenditures by the couple. Raj Kundra has reportedly suggested that portions of the alleged fraud amount were paid as fees to actresses Bipasha Basu and Neha Dhupia. Despite extensive questioning by the EOW, Kundra has reportedly remained tight-lipped on key details, prompting further interrogation. Investigators have also reportedly uncovered direct fund transfers from company accounts to those of several actresses, including Shilpa Shetty, Bipasha Basu, and Neha Dhupia, with transactions also linked to Balaji Entertainment.

A Look Out Circular (LOC) has also been issued against Shilpa and Raj to prevent them from leaving the country. According to police sources, the auditor of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has also been summoned for questioning. The FIR against Shilpa and Raj was filed by Deepak Kothari, director of Lotus Capital Financial Services, at the Juhu police station.

Kothari alleges that between 2015 and 2023, he invested 60.48 crore rupees in Best Deal TV Pvt. Ltd., a company promoted by Shetty and Kundra, for business expansion. The couple is accused of using this money for personal use, and the Economic Offences Wing is investigating the matter. The complainant alleges that the money was initially taken as a loan but was later presented as an investment to avoid taxes.

Deepak claims he was assured at a meeting that the money would be returned with 12% annual interest within a specified time. Shilpa herself provided a written guarantee in 2016. However, Shilpa later resigned from her director’s position in the company. Subsequently, it was revealed that an insolvency case of 1.28 crore rupees was pending against the company.
