  • No permission from ministry to launch PUBG Mobile India in India

    There is bad news for people waiting for PUBG Mobile India, the Indian avatar of popular battle mobile game PUBG. The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has not allowed PUBG Mobile India to be launched in India. Actually, the company which publishes the pub game has been trying for a long time to launch the Indian version of this game, but the officials of the ministry are unable to negotiate.

    Meanwhile, the Ministry has told that it does not have the permission to launch PUBG Mobile India in India. However, the best efforts to launch PUBG Mobile India are continuing. After the Indo-China border dispute a few months ago, India had banned many Chinese mobile apps including Ticketlock and PUBG, after which it has caused panic among millions of users and they have long been the Indian avatar of this game PUBG Mobile India and Desi pubs are waiting for the FAU-G game app to be considered.

    In order to allow PUBG Mobile India to launch and get status information in this case, 2 separate RTIs were filed in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, in response to which the Ministry on Thursday said that any one associated with PUBG Mobile India Also, the type of service, mobile apps and websites have not been allowed to be launched. One was filed by RTI MediaNama and the other by GEM Esports. In both RTI, it was tried to know whether the Ministry has not allowed to register PUBG Mobile India on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

  • ISRO Launches PSLV-C50 Carrying India’s 42nd Communication Satellite From Sriharikota

    The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has successfully launched the communication satellite CMS-01 onboard the PSLV-C50 at 3:41 pm from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SHAR), Sriharikota on Thursday. Marking ISRO’s second launch during the COVID-19 pandemic, the PSLV will put in orbit India’s 42nd communications satellite which is expected to provide coverage over the entire country in cases of disaster management and satellite internet connection. The new CMS-01 satellite will replace the current GSAT-12 in orbit, which was launched in 2011. 

    The mission on Thursday follows the successful launch of PSLV-C49 (EOS-01) earth observation satellite and nine customer spacecraft on November 7 which was ISRO’s first mission of the year amid the COVID-19 pandemic. After the INSAT and GSAT series, the satellite launched on Thursday will be the first in the new CMS series of communication satellites. As per the latest update, the fourth stage of the satellite has been normal with the PS4 engine commencing operation.

Its availability and sale will start from January 2021. However, the company has not revealed the price of its i7 variant at the moment.

    Xiaomi Mi QLED TV 4K with a 55-inch QLED Ultra-HD screen was launched in India on Wednesday, priced at Rs. 54,999. The Android TV and PatchWall-powered Mi QLED TV 4K is the company’s first QLED TV in India, and is also its most premium television series yet, offering a step up over the existing LED TV range. The new television has a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels, and is available in only a single 55-inch size option, with support for HDR up to the Dolby Vision format.


    Priced at Rs. 54,999, the Mi QLED TV 4K is the most expensive 55-inch television currently on offer from Xiaomi in India. Available in only a single 55-inch size option for now, the Mi QLED TV 4K goes up against QLED TV options from brands such as OnePlus and TCL, which are similarly priced at around or under the Rs. 60,000 mark. At this price, Xiaomi is offering similar specifications and features at a similar or lower price to options such as the OnePlus TV Q1 and TCL 55C715 (Review).

    The Mi QLED TV 4K will go on sale in India on December 21, at 12pm (noon) IST, via Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and other retail stores including Vijay Sales.

It features a 6.51-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) IPS LCD display with 20:9 aspect ratio and 89 percent screen-to-body ratio. Under the hood, Vivo Y30 Standard Edition is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC (MT6765), accompanied by a PowerVR GE8320 GPU.
