  • Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu will review Korea district on July 4

    The Minister of Home and Public Works and Minister in charge of Korea District, Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu will review the Koriya district on Sunday, July 4. They will leave from Raipur at 9 am by helicopter and reach Korea at 10 am. Minister Shri Sahu will review the Public Works Department at 11.10 am and Home and Jail Department at 11.30 am in the Collectorate Hall after meeting the general public at Circuit House at 10.10. Mr. Sahu will review the ongoing development works and schemes in the district by taking a meeting of district level officers of all departments at 12 noon.   • New sweetness in the life of farmers due to production of honey in Korea district

    As part of the innovative initiative for the economic support of farmers in Korea district, a dozen tribal farmers have produced more than one lakh honey in the first quarter itself. In the coming quarter, the amount of profit generated by tribal farmers will double. Now preparations are to be made on a more comprehensive scale. The work of beekeeping and honey production is being done by a group of tribal farmers in the district of Korea, with the technical cooperation of the Center for Agricultural Sciences – Korea, run under Indira Gandhi Agricultural University.
