  • Hulu sets April premiere for new Kardashians-Jenners series

    By PTI

LOS ANGELES: “The Kardashians”, a new series on the stars of the popular reality TV show “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”, will start streaming on Hulu from April 14.

According to Variety, the show promises to give insight into the Kardashian women’s work as influencers and businesswomen, along with the pressures that come with motherhood and raising children in the spotlight.

While details about what events the new series will cover are still unclear, “The Kardashians” will follow a similar blueprint as “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”, the 2007-2021 E! series that launched members of the family to international fame.

Matriarch Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian West, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner will all return to star in the new Hulu show, the trailer of which was released Monday.

“The Kardashians” has been in development since late 2020, when Disney announced a deal with the family to develop new content for Hulu.

The show was originally set to premiere sometime in 2021, but production didn’t start until late in the year when it was reported that the family had teamed with Fulwell 73 to produce the show.

After its premiere in April, the show will air new episodes weekly on Thursdays.

  • Kim Kardashian reveals she and her kids had contracted COVID-19

    By ANI
WASHINGTON: American reality TV star Kim Kardashian recently revealed that her whole family was diagnosed with COVID-19, which halted the production of ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ for two weeks and also disrupted her preparation for her second crack at the baby bar exam.

According to earlier reports, a teaser for the last episode of ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ had already revealed that Kim and her estranged husband Kanye West’s 5-year-old son Saint was diagnosed with COVID-19; but TMZ has learnt that on Thursday night’s episode, the SKIMS founder made a huge revelation saying that the health crisis went far beyond her oldest son, and affected her whole family.

Kim told Saint tested positive after he started going to school, and that she was really worried about him because he was crying and coughing a lot.

With three other kids in the house, she was concerned about the deadly virus spreading further. Soon after, North also started feeling sick, and eventually both she and Kim discovered they had COVID too.

Following this, the producers of ‘KUWTK’ decided to shut down the shooting for 14 days while the family quarantined.

Kim disclosed that she had some severe symptoms of the infection, like a 104-degree fever and that made her unable to study for her baby bar exam- which TMZ reported, she had previously flunked.

Although the fam had recovered from the disease, it is still unclear when did COVID-19 hit Kim and her kids as the E! reality show is filmed months in advance.

On a related note, Kim’s sister Khloe Kardashian and ex-husband Kanye West were also diagnosed with COVID-19 earlier.

At that time, Kim described her fear of the deadly disease to an outlet saying that “Kanye had its way at the beginning when nobody really knew what was going on. It was so scary and unknown. I had my four babies and no one else in the house to help. It was a challenge because it was so unknown.”

Kim and Kanye parted ways in February after nearly seven years of marriage. The insider also said that Kanye meets his kids whenever he wants, but not in the house.

Kanye and Kim have been living apart for some time now. While Kanye has been at his ranch in Wyoming, the ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ star is staying at their family home near Calabasas, California.

The celebrity couple, who made their relationship public in April 2012, has four children, North West, Saint West, Chicago West and Psalm West.

  • Andy Cohen set to host ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ reunion

    By ANI
WASHINGTON: American talk show host Andy Cohen is set to host a ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ reunion special, which is slated to air after the series finale of the hit reality show.

Cohen revealed the news on Wednesday with a Twitter post featuring a video of him telling members of the Kardashian/Jenner clan about his gig over FaceTime.

Along with the video, he wrote, “The ultimate FaceTime to announce the ULTIMATE #KUWTKReunion hosted by me! Which moment from all 20 Seasons of @kuwtkon @eentertainment, do you want to see the family discuss? I’m all ears.”

“We’re doing a ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ reunion, covering all 20 seasons, hosted by me. Get ready,” he said during the video call.

In a second tweet, he added, “It’s the ultimate family reunion covering 20 years of the Kardashians – and nothing is off limits! tweet questions for Kris, Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kylie, Kendall and Scott using the hashtag #KUWTKReunion.”

As per Variety, ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ will come to an end after 20 seasons on E! later this spring.

Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner and Scott Disick will all be on Cohen’s couch. It will be Kim Kardashian’s first sitdown interview since she filed for divorce from rapper Kanye West in February.

Cohen is known for his light-hearted but sneakily hard-hitting interview style. The reunion has not been filmed yet, according to a source, and the airdate for the episode has not yet been set.

As per Page Six, topics to wrap the final season will include Kim’s split from Kanye, Khloe and Tristan’s path to their second baby, and an appearance from the former cast member, Caitlyn Jenner.

The final season of the hit reality show premiered on E! in March. In December, the Kardashian-Jenners announced a new deal with Hulu, during a Disney Plus investor presentation.

Details were then and still are, sparse about what the family, who have become global stars since 2007 when ‘KUWTK’ first premiered, will be doing for Hulu.

  • ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ final season to premiere in March

    By PTI
LOS ANGELES: The 20th and the final season of popular reality series “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” will premiere on March 18, E! network has announced.

The channel also released a sneak peek at the upcoming season, teasing the famous Kardashian clan preparing to bid adieu to their long-running reality show.

“We just wanted to tell you in person that we won’t be going forward with filming the show anymore,” an emotional Kris Jenner tells the production crew in the teaser posted on the network’s official Instagram page.

“I just want you to know that we really appreciate you guys. Each and every one of you,”adds Kim Kardashian West.

Kardashian-Jenner family announced their franchise would be coming to an end last year in September.

“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” debuted in 2007 and turned the family into global celebrities with huge business empire. They are some of the most followed individuals on social media.

After the upcoming season, the Kardashian-Jenner family will be heading to Hulu under a new deal.

Details about the project have not been disclosed, but parent company Disney has announced that the content featuring Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian West, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner, would start airing later this year.

  • Kardashians commemorate last day of filming ‘Keeping Up’ with emotional posts ahead of final season

    By ANI
WASHINGTON: The much-loved reality TV show ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ wrapped filming on its final episode Friday (local time), and the Kardashian-Jenner family commemorated the occasion on social media with a series of emotional posts.

According to Page Six, introducing the show’s audio tech of 14 years, Erin Paxton, Kim noted that “this is our last ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ mic’ing of life,” panning over to show the individual microphone packs for Kylie, Kris, Kourt, Khloe, Kim and Kendall.

Another clip from her Stories showed the casts’ place settings for lunch, which were designated by cookies decorated with their faces, as revealed in Kris Jenner’s Stories, Funny Face Bakery in Manhattan. Scott Disick even had a crown on.

Khloe’s Stories offered another view of the table as well as showing a couple of the younger kids chowing down on their cookies.

Page Six reported that ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ is ending this year with Season 20, as the first family of reality TV announced in September. Reportedly, Kylie and Kim’s threat to leave moved Kris Jenner to end the show; Khloe and Disick both wanted to keep cashing the show’s “easy paycheck.”

Insiders told Page Six that a number of factors, including Kim’s desire to keep Kanye West’s mental health struggle – as well as, presumably, their imminent divorce – out of the spotlight, as well as the family’s attempt to negotiate ever-higher paydays to re-up with the network E!, converged to end the show.

However, in December, Disney announced during its Investor Day that it had inked a deal with the Kardashian family to create “global content that will stream exclusively on Hulu in the US,” which will be debuting in late 2021.
