  • Jaisingh Agrawal will inaugurate Hardibazar Tehsil office today

    The inauguration of State Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Jaisingh Aggarwal will be inaugurated on Thursday at 12 noon giving the status of Tehsil to Hardibazar Sub Tehsil Office. Formerly, Hardibazar has been functioning as a sub-tehsil office. It is noteworthy that Bhupesh Baghel, the head of the state committed to the all-round development of the state, this is an important step in the direction of providing more facilities at the local level to bring administrative tightness and to ensure public access to the officials at the administrative level. Certainly the operation of this office will provide a lot of convenience to the people and they will no longer need to go to the Katghora Tehsil office for the Tehsili level works. It is known that for a long time there has been a demand of public representatives and common citizens that Hardibazar should get the status of Tehsil.

  • Bhupesh Baghel approves opening of new college building and primary health center on demand of MLA

    Bhupesh Baghel considered the demands of all the MLAs and people’s representatives of the district during his stay on January 4-5. Pali dictator MLA Mohit Kerketta asked the Chief Minister Baghel to open a new college at Jatga and a new college at Rampur in Kartala. The Chief Minister fulfilled the MLA’s demand by announcing the construction of a building for the college in Jatga from the stage itself. Similarly, Chief Minister Baghel also announced opening of Primary Health Center at Nonabirra of Pali Development Block in Pali-Tanakhar Assembly constituency. MLA Mohit Kerketta said that there is no college within the radius of 35 km from Jatga village in Pali-Tanakhar assembly constituency. For this reason, students of the area have to go to Katghora, 70 km away for college. He informed that Chief Minister Baghel has approved the establishment of a new college and construction of a building in Jatga during his stay keeping in view the expansion of higher education in the area and the convenience of students. MLA Kerketta also said that for starting a new college in Rampur also, Chief Minister Baghel has assured to include it in the upcoming budget after discussion in the cabinet if it is suitable after conducting tests.

    The Gondwana Ganatantra Party has opened a front against the forest officer of the Katghora forest division. The Gondwana Republic Republic on Wednesday surrounded the DFO office and shouted slogans for cases of deforestation, death of forest dwellers and wage payments.

  • Collective Security Scheme for Tendupatta Collectors: So far, more than Rs 44 lakh sanctioned in 371 cases in the state

    Under the able direction of Shri Mohammad Akbar, successful implementation of the Community Safety Scheme is being done in the interest of tendupatta collectors in the state. Additional Managing Director State Small Forest Produce Association Shri S.S. Bajaj said that under this, an amount of Rs 44 lakh 52 thousand has been sanctioned in 371 cases so far in the state during the current year. The sanctioned amount has been transferred to the bank account of the concerned beneficiary. It is worth mentioning that under the collective security scheme, 12 thousand rupees are paid to the head or the claimant of the family of the deceased tendu patta collector. It is being operated by Chhattisgarh State Small Forest Produce Association in the interest of tendupatta collectors.
    Under the collective security scheme, an amount of 60 thousand rupees is approved in 5 cases of forest division Bijapur under Jagdalpur forest circle and Rs 96 thousand in 8 cases of Dantewada forest division. Similarly, in 27 cases of Kanker forest division, Rs 3 lakh 24 thousand in Kanker forest division, Rs one lakh 32 thousand in 11 cases of West Bhanupratapur forest division, Rs one lakh 56 thousand in 13 cases of east Bhanupratappur forest division, Narayanpur forest 60 thousand rupees in 5 cases of Mandal and 60 thousand rupees in 5 cases of Keshkal forest division.
    These include Rs 3 lakh in 25 cases of Raigad forest division under Bilaspur forest circle, Rs 2 lakh 52 thousand in 21 cases of Dharamjaigarh forest division, Rs 2 lakh 28 thousand in 19 cases of Katghora forest division, in 5 cases of Korba forest division. 60 thousand rupees, Rs. 36 thousand in 3 cases of Bilaspur forest division and Rs. 24 thousand in 2 cases of Janjgir-Champa forest division is approved. Under Durg Forest Circle, an amount of six lakhs 72 thousand rupees is sanctioned in 56 cases of Rajnandgaon forest division, 60 thousand rupees in 5 cases of Balod forest division and rupees 72 thousand rupees in 6 cases of Kawardha forest division.
    Similarly, under the Raipur forest circle, in 29 cases of Gariaband forest division, Rs 3 lakh 48 thousand, in Dhamtari forest division Rs 3 lakh 24 thousand, in 23 cases of Mahasamund forest division, Rs 2 lakh 76 thousand, of Balodabazar forest division An amount of 12 thousand rupees is approved in one case. Under the Surguja Forest Circle, in Jashpur Nagar Forest Division 30 cases, Rs 3 lakh 60 thousand, in 27 cases of Balrampur forest division, Rs 3 lakh 24 thousand, in 10 cases of Surajpur forest division Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand, 5 of Manendragarh forest division 60 thousand rupees in cases and Rs 36 thousand in 3 cases of Surguja Forest Division is approved.
