The target was Jaychand Kosal, a coal businessman. The raid took place at Kosal’s residence located at Ambedkar Chowk in Akaltara. The EOW team is currently scrutinizing documents. The sudden arrival of the team in the morning caused a stir in the area. Jaychand’s father, a Grade-1 assistant in the Janjgir Collectorate, was previously a Grade-2 clerk in the secretariat in Raipur during the Congress regime. He currently holds the position of Grade-1 assistant.
