  • Defamation case: Kangana Ranaut to appear before Mumbai court on July 4

    By PTI

MUMBAI: Actor Kangana Ranaut will appear before a metropolitan magistrate court here on July 4 in connection with a defamation complaint filed against her by Bollywood lyricist Javed Akhtar.

As the matter came up for hearing before the Andheri metropolitan magistrate’s court on Monday, her lawyer sought an exemption from the actor’s personal appearance for the day.

The court then directed Ranaut’s legal team to file Pursis (written statement /information given to the court pertaining to any matter pending before it), stating that the accused will remain present on the next date of hearing (July 4).

The court granted an exemption for the day after the Pursis was filed by Ranaut’s lawyer.

The court also reserved the hearing on a plea seeking the issuance of a warrant against Ranaut till the next hearing.

Akhtar (76) had filed the complaint in court in November 2020, claiming that Ranaut had made defamatory statements against him in a television interview, which allegedly damaged his reputation.

In his complaint, Akhtar claimed that Ranaut dragged his name during the interview while referring to a ‘coterie’ existing in Bollywood, following the alleged suicide by actor Sushant Singh Rajput in June last year.

  • ‘PM’s silence speaks volumes’: Civil society questions Modi over Haridwar Dharam Sansad event

    By PTI

NEW DELHI: A group of prominent civil society members on Tuesday questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “silence” over alleged hate speeches against Muslims at the Haridwar Dharam Sansad and demanded “exemplary” action by the government against those involved.

The Indian Muslims for Secular Democracy (IMSD) in a statement signed by 278 people, including lyricist Javed Akhtar and actor Naseeruddin Shah, said that “no Indian ought to be surprised by the shocking silence” of Prime Minister Narendra Modi despite growing demand nationally and internationally that he must speak, and his government must act in “exemplary fashion” against members of the Dharam Sansad who have called for a “genocide of Indian Muslims”.

“The PM’s silence speaks volumes, is nothing short of a mockery of Indian democracy, a violation of the Indian Constitution which the PM has sworn to uphold during his swearing in. His ‘maun’ (silence) is inexcusable,” the statement said.

“In his first term as Prime Minister, Modi had promised ‘sabka saath, sabka vikas’ to all Indians. He went a step further in his current second term with the assurance of ‘sabka saath, sabka vikas, sabka vishwas’. That these were/are nothing but insincere and hollow slogans is more than evident from the way Indian Muslims continue to be hounded, wounded and lynched,” the group said.

The signatories of the IMSD statement include journalists, lawyers, academicians, civil society activists and members of the film fraternity.

Some participants at the Dharam Sansad held in Haridwar from December 17-19 have been accused of delivering highly provocative speeches against Muslims.

  •  BJP seeks apology from Javed Akhtar over his remark linking RSS to Taliban

    By PTI

MUMBAI: Security was beefed up outside the residence of writer-lyricist Javed Akhtar in Mumbai on Monday after a Maharashtra BJP MLA demand an apology from him over his remark where he allegedly compared the RSS with the Taliban, a police official said.

Adequate police bandobast was placed outside Akhtar’s residence near the ISKCON temple in Juhu area, the official said, adding that security personnel, including women constables, were deployed outside the lyricist’s home.

Akhtar recently told a news channel that right wing all over the world has an uncanny similarity.

“The Taliban want an Islamic country. These people want to make a Hindu Rashtra,” the lyricist said without naming the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

BJP MLA and state party spokesperson Ram Kadam condemned Akhtar’s remark.

The legislator from Mumbai said no film involving Akhtar will be allowed to be screened in the country until he apologises to Sangh functionaries over his comments.

The Shiv Sena, which shares power with the NCP and Congress in Maharashtra, on Monday said Akhtar was “completely wrong” in comparing the RSS with the Taliban.

“How can you say those who favour the concept of a Hindu Rashtra are of Talibani mindset? We don’t agree with this,” an editorial in the Sena mouthpiece ‘Saamana’ said.

  • ‘Linking RSS with Taliban is disrespectful to Hindu culture’: Shiv Sena slams Javed Akhtar

    By ANI

MUMBAI: Shiv Sena, which is in alliance with Congress in Maharashtra, has slammed lyricist Javed Akhtar, in its mouthpiece ‘Saamana’ for the latter’s alleged comparison of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) with the Taliban, which recently captured Afghanistan following months of offensive and said “linking Hindutva with the Taliban is disrespectful to Hindu culture.”

In the editorial, Shiv Sena said the people who think that the ideology of RSS and VHP are similar to the Taliban must introspect.

“Nowadays one is comparing anyone with Taliban as the outfit is the biggest threat to society and mankind. Countries like Pakistan and China where democracy doesn’t exist are backing the Taliban in Afghanistan because human rights have no place in these countries. But India is a democratic country and respects an individual’s freedom so it is erroneous to compare RSS with the Taliban. India is tremendously tolerant in every way,” it said.

“For organisations like RSS and VHP, Hindutva is a culture. They want the rights of Hindus should not be suppressed. Moreover, it has never imposed any restrictions on women’s rights. But the situation in Afghanistan is heart-wrenching. Many fled from their own country in fear, the rights of women are being suppressed,” the editorial claimed.

Shiv Sena said that Javed Akhtar is known for his outspoken statements and has several times attacked extremist views of Muslim society, yet we do not accept the comparison of the Sangh with the Taliban.

“Most of the population of the country is secular and respects each other religious views. We cannot accept the ‘Talibani ideology’. In spite of the fact that India being home to a majority of the Hindu population, it is a proud secular country,” Shiv Sena said.

  • Javed Akhtar, Shabana meet Mamata; lyricist says there should be change, democracy is not static

    By PTI
NEW DELHI: Lyricist-writer Javed Akhtar and actor Shabana Azmi met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee here on Thursday and spoke about a need for ‘parivartan’ (change), saying Bengal has always led “revolutionary movements”.

They met Banerjee to “thank” her for supporting a bill that assures royalty for artistes. The lyricist said historically, Bengal has always been a step ahead with revolutionary movements and this is why artistes and intellectuals in the state stood with Banerjee.

Asked whether there was a need for change, Akhtar said, “I can’t say for everyone but personally, I feel there should be ‘parivartan’.

There are many tensions in the country right now, there is the issue of polarisation, many give aggressive statements there are incidents of violence. It’s a shame that Delhi witnessed communal riots. These things should not happen.”

Replying to a question of whether Banerjee should lead the opposition against the BJP, Akhtar said that during his discussions with her, she never said that she had the ambition to be the leader of an opposition front.

“However, she believes in parivartan. She fought for Bengal earlier, now she wants to fight for India.”

“The important question is not who will lead and who won’t. The important question is what kind of India do you want and the kind of tradition, atmosphere, freedom and democracy do you want. We are proud that we have a democracy but we should strive to make it better. Democracy is a constant process. It is not static, it’s dynamic,” he said.

Asked to comment on the now-viral slogan of “Khela Hobe (game is on)”, Akhtar said that the slogan did not need any endorsement anymore.

“It is beyond any discussion now,” he said. Banerjee, who was standing silently as Akhtar spoke, quipped, “Khela hobe se aapko ek gaan banana hai (you have to compose a song on khela hobe).” The chief minister arrived in the national capital on Monday on a five-day visit, her first since assuming office for a third straight term. She is scheduled to leave the city on Friday afternoon.

  • Editorial: – Instead India of, America China and Pakistan is intolerant..

Blaming Hindutva for ‘increasing intolerance’, the American report is derogatory, partisan and motivated. The followers of Christianity and Islam are the only any how people in the world who want to incorporate the whole world within their religion. Christian countries often funded the money for this through missionaries, through trickery and convert people of poor backward tribal groups.Islamist petrarchs, through religious fundamentalism and Muslim terrorists, convert the people in islam.

Only Hindu religion and its branch Buddhist and Parsi (Jewish) are those who do not convert other People with force or deceit, wealth and power. This is the reason that they are falling in the world.

Take the example of Pakistan, at the time of partition, 10 percent were Hindus, then now 1 percent. On the contrary, Muslims in India were less than 15 percent, so now more than 25 percent.

Ratan Tata has revealed in his book that there was a time Persian rule in the iran. They were in the majority. But now there is the rule of the Shi’a Muslims and not even a single Parsi there.

It is true that in countries like Indonesia, Malaysia etc., there were Hindu empires. But at that time these empires were established not on the strength of the sword but on the basis of their principles. Similarly, Buddhism also influenced the countries of Thailand, China etc. But these were not even on the strength of the sword.

Regardless, its US is broadcasting itself as tolerant and calling India an intolerant country. Not only this, Christian missionaries of America and European countries have spread the falsehood in India. On the basis of the wealth provided to NGO. These missionaries encourage many types of activities to weaken India.

Sadly, due to vote bank politics, our so called secularists are helping to spread the network of these missionaries and NGOs in India.

To date, Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh, Aamir, Javed Akhtar and others are still intolerant of the Indian government. The drama of award return was also created.

There has been continuous news for a few days now that after the Muslims in China, Christians are now being punished.

It is surprising that on this, our vote bank politics and anti-Hindu leaders who are now falsely claiming to be true Hindus, and the communist parties do not see intolerant of China as intolerant.

The affected institutions churches and missionaries have now become the center of many evils and anti-national movements. The Bishop of Kerala has now come under the charge of rape, it is not such a reminder that this happened in the world, but in India, now the rape accused marched in the road against the rapist bishop.

Missionaries and Christian countries discriminate with the tribal backward poor Hindus who were made Christians by spreading misconceptions by this trick. In this regard, they also wrote a letter to the UN.

Beni Hinn came to India from time to time and campaigned to make Christian by bluffing the innocent poor people in the same way as Rambabu has now done in Delhi with the help of Kejriwal government.

For this reason when the Mr.Dharm in Karnataka was the Chief Minister, at that time, Beni Hinn was given complete independence to convert people. The poor, the oppressed public, by making blind faith.

The task of dividing Hindus is also being done by polynomial Brahminic leaders as Rahul. Ravana was also a Brahmin but how was his actions? Now a Ravana is also out of jail, he is also speaking the language of ten heads Ravana.

The people of India should be cautious with such elements hidden in the country and the foreign forces that disrupt the unity of India, which weaken India.

  • Editorial :- The politics of Rahul Gandhi, the traditionalist who insulted the elders

Before discussing Rahul Gandhi, it would be appropriate to discuss his political guru Digvijay Singh and Mani Shankar Aiyar.
In Pakistan Mani Shankar Aiyar had sought the help of ISI to remove Modi’s Prime Minister Modi while giving an interview on a TV channel. He Mani Shankar Aiyar said, “The person who is in power today, his Guru Savarkar gave him the first theory of ‘To Nation’.”
Today, another member of Rahul Gandhi gang, film lyricist Javed Akhtar has also liked a similar response.
Walking on his footprints, Rahul Gandhi said that at the time Congress was fighting Nehru-Gandhi family with the British, Veer Savarkar was apologizing to the British.
This is what the Congress and their Left companions have been giving to Atal ji. Atal ji is calling all these agents of the British.
Today Rahul Gandhi and his other companions are making a pretense of devotion to Atal ji, it is necessary to discuss this in this editorial.
It is necessary to discuss the topic of the two-nation theory. It is a historical fact that the birthright of Two Nation Theory was Jinnah and Nehru. Both of them accepted the partition of India to become their heads. Sir Sayed was the founder of Aligarh Muslim University on the same Two Nation Theory. This is why Jinnah’s photo is sitting in this university.
Rahul Gandhi’s mentor Digvijay Singh had released the book responsible for the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks and responsible for the Indo-Task Force. This is what Digvijay Singh has done today very disgusting politics.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh gave a big statement on the death of Saint Dhyuji Maharaj. Digvijay Singh said that Dheoyaji was worried about the illegal mining being done by Shivraj Sarkar in Narmada. Bhayyaji Maharaj had himself killed himself in Indore by shooting himself on Tuesday. After his self-esteem, his suicide note of about six lines has also emerged. In which he wrote that I am very tense and upset, I am going.
Let us know that till date, it was not known what was the reason for living in tension.
Talking to media, Digvijay Singh said that, Bhayyaji Maharaj was concerned about the illegal mining done by Shivraj Singh in Narmada. Shivraj Singh also offered a ministerial post to keep Dhayuji Maharaj close to his mouth. But they rejected this offer. He himself told me about this on the call.
First came to see Atal ji, protects Advani ji in the celebrations. Rahul said that Atalji is sick, first I went there Because I understand. They fought against us but they were the prime ministers of the country. They have worked for the country.
Responding to Rahul Gandhi’s accusation, BJP has rightly said that Rahul Gandhi is now doing politics even when asked about Vajpayee’s movement and in such cases there is little politics in rhetoric.
The allegations of the case done by the RSS on Rahul Gandhi have been fixed. It is enough to say that Atal Bihari Vajpayee has been a volunteer of National Self-Service Association. At the time of the Janata Party rule, when the issue of dual membership rose, the BJP under the leadership of Atal ji had separated from the Janata Party. He is facing litigation today by making false allegations against Atal ji’s maternal institution. This is just being done for publicity stunt.
PM Modi’s fitness challenge is also on the politics of Congress.
Today Atal, Rahul has become a devotee of Advani. In fact, to insult the elderly leaders, there is tradition in the Congress party. There are countless examples of this in front of us. Let us look at the key issues in which the Congress has insulted the legendary politicians like Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Sitaram Kesari, Pranab Mukherjee and Narasimha Rao. It has been discussed in detail in different articles on this page.
Rahul Gandhi should know that in order to know about Atal, Advani ji and in detail about the Sangh, former President Pranab Mukherjee joined the Sangh’s program and said the RSS founder Dr. Hegdevar as the true witness of Bharat Mata and Following the same photo of the second sarsanghchalak Golwarkar ji of the Sangh, Rahul Gandhi also goes to the Sangh’s branch and closely connected to the Sangh Try to understand.
