  • Fear of eviction from land ends: Landowner’s right to land acquired for years

    The Chhattisgarh government has long been giving landowners the right to land-owning people in rural areas. In the same link, the village Patrerapali Niwari Mr. Dolprasad of Sakti, a development block in Janjgir-Champa district, says that he got the ownership of the forest land he had held for years. With the fear of eviction from the land ending, he is now living his life by farming without worry with the whole family. The state government is giving forest rights pattas of forest land occupied for years to forest dwellers for their rights and livelihood. Mr. Dolprasad’s family is happy to get ownership of 0.182 hectare land which has been in possession for years now.
    Mr. Dolprasad told that for the last 30 years, the land on which farming was done by building enclosures and houses. The state government has made the owner of that land. The land that we made for farming, fencing and living is now our right. The government gave us their rights. Thanking the state government, Shri Dolprasad said that due to the grant of land, his respect in the society has increased. Now there is no fear of eviction from the ground. He told that he was afraid of being evicted for years because the land held in the government records was not recorded in the name of Forest Department. The state government has released them from the concern by giving them forest rights lease.

  • Financial assistance of 28 lakhs to the victims

    Revenue and Disaster Management Department of Chhattisgarh Government approves financial assistance to various disaster victims through District Collector. Financial assistance of Rs. 28 lakh has been sanctioned to 7 natural disaster victims in Janjgir-Champa district.

    Under the provisions of the Revenue Book Circular, Mejuram Ram Yadav of Kankot village of Dabhra tehsil of Janjgir-Champa district, Jalabai Chanda of village Padra-Hardi of Jajipur tehsil and Sadhamati Sahu of village Bilari of Pamgarh tahsil died due to drowning in water. Financial assistance of four lakh rupees has been sanctioned to the families of the deceased. In the same way, from the burning of Suraj Bai of village Bokreel of Baloda tehsil, from the snakebite of the border boat of Karahi village of Jajepur tehsil, Divya Yadav of village Khairjhiti died and Balaram of village Kharkhod of Pamgarh tahsil died of snakebite. Financial assistance of four lakh rupees has been sanctioned to the families of the victims of death.

  • Continuation of stubble burning in the fields continues, not even administration is taking action

    The paras that are left in the fields are being burnt uninterrupted after harvesting paddy from farmer harvesters and threshers to prepare for the rabi crop.     Flames are rising in the farm these days in village Deori, Zharra, Sarawani and other nearby villages of Bamnidih block including Sakra, Darrabhatha under the Sakti development block of Janjgir-Champa district. Farmers who harvested paddy from harvesters and thrashers do not want to take home the paras left in the field. In such a situation, a fire is started by them in Para, which causes smoke in the entire area including fire.

  • Raipur, Bilaspur and Durg divisions will have a dry run, district task force will review

    Today, there will be a dry-run in the districts of Balod, Balodabazar, Bemetra, Dhamtari, Gariaband, Janjgir-Champa, Kawardha, Korba, Mahasamund, Mungeli, Raigad in Raipur, Bilaspur and Durg divisions.   • Chief Minister Mr. Baghel inspected Aurai Kala Gauthan: A face-to-face meeting with women self-help groups and villagers

    Bhupesh Baghel inspected Gothan in Auraikala today during his two-day stay in Janjgir-Champa district. Mr. Baghel discussed with the villagers, women of self-help groups in Gothan and inquired about the economic activities conducted by them and gave necessary instructions to the officials to help them in their livelihood operations. On this occasion, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Dr. Charandas Mahant, Health Minister and in-charge Minister of Janjgir-Champa district, Shri T.S. Public representatives were also present including Singhdev, School Education Minister Dr. Premasai Singh Tekam.

    Arriving in Gauthan, worshiped Gau Mata. He inquired about various activities of Gauthan including Vermi tank, Vermi compost ajola tank, Poultry shed, Mushroom shed in Gauthan. The Chief Minister also ran fodder cuttings by running a fodder cutter machine in Gothan. The Chief Minister discussed about products manufactured by women of Bihan Group, vegetable production, food products and other products and their marketing. During the discussion, he encouraged the villagers, including the women of the group, to organize their livelihood in Gauthan. The villagers and local public representatives gave him a warm welcome when he reached Gowthan.
    It is worth noting that Auraikala Adarsh ​​Gauthan of Baloda block has been properly developed under Suraji village scheme. 436 meters CPT, 03 nos. Water tank, kotna & shed, poultry shed and mushroom shed, anjola tank, vermi compost tank have been constructed in Gauthan complex. Seven women self-help groups have got the means of livelihood from this Gothan. Varmi compost, vegetable production, mushroom, munga, papaya production, fish and poultry farming are being done by the groups. A system of water pumps for irrigation and dung gas plant has also been established by CREDA. The self-help group making fertilizer has earned more than Rs 37 thousand. The same groups engaged in vegetable production have sold vegetables worth more than Rs 10,000.

The Chief Minister will attend the Kisan Sammelan at the High School Ground of the District Headquarters at 1.15 pm and inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for various development works. The Chief Minister will observe the beautification of Bhima Talab at 4.50 pm after observing the Divyang School and Library. They will meet and discuss the heads of various organizations, heads of society, public representatives, youth delegations and officials at 4.45 pm. Baghel will rest the night in Janjgir-Champa. On January 6, the Chief Minister will depart from Circuit House Janjgir-Champa at 11 am to reach Pandri and from there by helicopter will reach Gram Panchayat Jogisar of Gorela Pandra Marwahi district at 12.15 pm. Where they will inspect the Narva Stopdem and meet the Women’s Self Help Group. After this, the Chief Minister will reach the village Danikundi of Marwahi block of development at one o’clock by helicopter and address the general assembly after distributing material and checks in various development works. They will inspect the Miscellaneous Facility cum Price Promotion Center at Danikundi at 2.15 pm and will meet and discuss with various organization heads, community heads, public representatives, youth delegations and officials from 3.15 pm. The Chief Minister will depart from Danikundi at 4 pm and return to Raipur at 5 pm.

  • Chief Minister will inaugurate and do bhoomi pujan of works worth more than Rs 1083 crore in Janjgir-Champa

    Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate and lay foundation stones for development works worth more than Rs 1083 crore at the Kisan Sammelan held on January 05 at the high school ground in Janjgir. These include the inauguration of 419 works worth Rs 292.10 crore and the Bhoomi Pujan of 836 works worth Rs 820.93 crore. Apart from this, under the various schemes of Agriculture, Horticulture, Fisheries, Labor Department, Livestock Development Department, Social Welfare Department, 1051 beneficiaries will distribute materials and checks.
    In the program, 836 different works worth Rs 820 crore 93 lakh will be performed by the Chief Minister. In this, 228 works worth Rs 31 crore 49 lakh of Panchayat and Rural Development Department, 68 works worth Rs 514.15 crore of Public Works Department, 04 works of Rs 19.235 crore of Water Resources Department, 03 works of Rs 1.21 crore of School Education Department, Chief Minister The village road scheme comprises 12 works of Rs 15.56 crore.   • Gouthans are becoming the basis of economic prosperity in the villages of Chhattisgarh

    The final process of making organic manure by adding Australian earthworms has started in the Gothans of Basin of Sakti development block of Janjgir-Champa district and the village Basantpur of Baloda development block.     The Australian earthworm prepared by Beehan’s Gange Maia self-help group, Behradih has been put up with the help of Master Trainer Deen Dayal Yadav at Vermi Taka for Vermi Compost by Rishikwar and Arun Yadav, ADO of Panchayat and Rural Development Department. Under Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s ambitious Narva, Garwa, Ghurwa aur Bari scheme, Gauthans are being built across the state under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana where cow dung is being collected and purchased as well as door to door in cities under Clean India Mission Clean City Waste and dry waste are being collected separately at the SLRM center by collecting garbage.

    In this regard, Deendayal Yadav said that it is necessary to have cow dung at least 1 week old to make high quality vermi compost. The same is being made by making the West de Composer and Jeevamrit to make good manure within 45 days. Along with this, complete information is being given about the management of earthworms properly and ways of packaging the compost. He informed that the vermi compost being prepared by the women of the group will be sold directly in the service cooperative societies at the rate of Rs 8 per kg.

  • Nodal officer appointed for paddy procurement and supervision

    The state government has started preparations for procurement of paddy at the support price in the Kharif marketing year 2020-21. 64 nodal officers have been appointed for easy paddy procurement and supervision in Janjgir Champa district. These nodal officers will supervise the preparation at the respective paddy procurement centers. Nodal officers have been instructed to submit the preparation report in the prescribed form to the district office by 19 November 2020. In addition, the nodal officer will continuously monitor the period of paddy purchase and will submit weekly reports every Tuesday.
