Affectionately nicknamed ‘Jimmy’, Anderson holds the record for playing the most Test matches by any England cricketer. He ranks second on the all-time list of Test appearances, with only India’s legendary Sachin Tendulkar (200) ahead of him. He was also part of a record-breaking bowling partnership for England alongside Stuart Broad, who retired last year.

    He has also picked up 269 ODI wickets from 194 outings and 18 scalps from 19 T20Is. He was part of the T20 World Cup winning English team.
