  • 9.41 crores approved for two irrigation schemes

    The government of Chhattisgarh has sanctioned 9 crore 41 lakh 27 thousand rupees for two irrigation schemes of Durg district. The works of approved irrigation schemes include strengthening of right bank canal from mile 26 to mile 44 of Tandul main canal of Patan block development in Durg district. B. 8 crore 84 lakh 27 thousand rupees have been sanctioned for M. work. Similarly, Rs 57 lakh has been sanctioned for reconstruction work of Patan IB and compound construction work in Patan, Angartat development block of Durg district. Administrative approval has been issued to the Chief Engineer Mahanadi Godavari Cachar Water Resources Department Raipur for carrying out the works of these irrigation schemes from the Ministry of Water Resources Department, Mahanadi Bhawan Nava Raipur.

    Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the Solar Community Irrigation Scheme of the village at village Borenda in Durg district. This community irrigation scheme has been constructed at a cost of Rs. 3.30 crores. 217 farmers of the village will get benefit from this scheme. On the request of the villagers, the Chief Minister approved construction of an embankment on the left bank of the Kharun river, due to its formation, the river will get relief from erosion. Mr. Baghel also approved the Solar Community Scheme at village Chulgahan and Odaragahan.

  • Chief Minister congratulated Chhattisgarh State Foundation Day

    Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has congratulated the people of the state on November 1. Mr. Baghel said that the state government is moving ahead with the resolution of ‘Garhbo Nava Chhattisgarh’ to develop and prosper Chhattisgarh. Chhattisgarh is now going to enter the 21st year of its construction. Young Chhattisgarh believes in carrying with all people with full energy and confidence.
    Mr. Baghel said that the state government has taken the initiative to revive the culture, culture, resources of Chhattisgarh as well as implement accessible and smooth administration system for the citizens. The water, forest, land has been started by saving its benefits to the local people. The forest dwellers are given their rights through forest rights lease and tendu leaf bonus. The work of Bodhghat multipurpose irrigation project, pending for years in Bastar division, has progressed. To strengthen the economy of the villages, the work of saving Narva, Garuva, Ghurwa, Bari is being done in Suraji village scheme. Debt waiver and Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyaya Yojana have provided support to farmers in Chhattisgarh. This year, the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana has been launched on May 21, the birthday of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, to encourage crop production in the state and to give the farmers the right price for their produce. Under this, a provision has been made to give 19 lakh farmers of the state an amount of Rs 5750 crore in 4 installments directly in their accounts.
    Many schemes like Chief Minister Mittan Yojana, Chief Minister Power Infrastructure Development Scheme will help Chhattisgarh to move forward. We have to make Chhattisgarh stand in the line of developed states. This is possible with everyone’s active support. With this, while maintaining the original form of Chhattisgarh, the dream of creating a new and developed Chhattisgarh will soon be realized.
