Speaking to enthusiastic crowds, Majhi painted a vivid picture of Odisha’s transformation from untapped potential to tangible wealth. Expected to create more than 59,000 employment opportunities, these ventures span critical areas including renewable energy tech, metal processing, garment manufacturing, plastic products, hospitality, food processing, defense gear, software services, auto components, and cement production.

Distributed across multiple districts, the projects are designed to supercharge economic momentum. The Chief Minister described this as a golden chapter in the ‘Prosperous Odisha’ narrative, reflecting a seamless shift from commitment to execution.

Reflecting on recent achievements, Majhi noted that over the last 18-20 months, the government has operationalized projects worth nearly ₹2.5 lakh crore, yielding 1.76 lakh jobs. Today’s milestone alone attracts over ₹40,000 crore and 59,000 positions, with a focus on import substitution—turning Khurda into a hub for domestic production.

Majhi’s vision extends globally: Odisha-made goods will conquer international markets, fortifying an self-sufficient industrial base. This isn’t just growth; it’s a promise of a thriving, developed state emerging as a global player in the coming years.
