Leading the pack is Runaya Cart Aluminium Powders’ Rs 300 crore high-precision aluminium powder plant in Jharsuguda, targeting global markets in defence and electronics. Meanwhile, established players in steel—Scan Steels, Jay Jagannath Steel and Power, and SS Alufoils—are ramping up capacities for iron and ferroalloys, reinforcing the state’s metallurgical dominance.

Diverse sectors like electronics, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, shipbuilding, and hospitality also received nods, ensuring inclusive growth. This move not only diversifies the economy but also prioritizes local employment.

In the last two years, more than 150 projects have been operationalized, showcasing Odisha’s efficiency in turning MoUs into reality. As investments flow in, the state is poised to emerge as a top investment destination in eastern India, driving prosperity for its people.
