  • PL Punia to meet Congress district president and in-charge today

    Congress’s Chhattisgarh in-charge PL Punia reached Raipur last evening on a three-day state visit. Today, he will hold a marathon meeting at Rajiv Bhavan. They are going to attend 3 separate meetings. Will hold a meeting of district presidents and in-charges.
    After this, the manifesto implementation will be discussed with the ministers. Punia will also hold a meeting of the party’s social media and communications department.
    On reaching Raipur, he said that in these three days a meeting will be held with the ministers of the state government, officials of the state and district congress committee and in-charge. In the meeting, all the ministers will give information about their departments to these officials so that these officials can reach the public. PL Punia will also hold one to one discussion with all ministers.

  • Collector Raipur takes over as Administrator of Municipal Corporation Birgaon

    The Urban Administration and Development Department of Chhattisgarh Government has entrusted the important responsibility to the Collector, Dr. S. Bhartidasan. He has been appointed as the Administrator for the Municipal Corporation Birgaon. The department has issued an order in this regard. Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Birgaon Shrikant Verma said that in compliance with the order, Collector Dr. S. Bharatidasan has taken over as administrator.

  • UPSC main exam from 8 January in Raipur

    The Civil Services Main Examination for the year 2020 will be held from January 8 to January 10 and from January 16 to 17, organized by the Union Public Service Commission, New Delhi. The examination will be conducted in two shifts from 9:00 am to 12:00 am and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

    Collector Dr. S. Bharatidasan has appointed Poonam Sharma Deputy Collector as Assistant Coordinator Supervisor and KS Patle DPC Rajiv Gandhi Education Mission as Control Room Incharge for smooth conduct of the said examination. The examination has been made in the Central Government J Yoganandam Chhattisgarh College, Baron Bazar Raipur.

    Candidates declared successful in the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2020, who have filled the detailed application form (DAF), can download the UPSC Mains Schedule 2020 by visiting the Commission’s official website, upsc.gov.in.

    The notification for Civil Services Examination 2020 was released by the Union Public Service Commission in February. The preliminary examination was scheduled to be held on 31 May, but due to the lockdown due to the Kovid-19 epidemic, the exam date was extended. The preliminary examination was held on October 4.

  • Case against CM Yogi Adityanath Khafa, 24 suspended and 33 for harassing farmers

    On the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Uttar Pradesh, a major action has been taken against those who have been negligent in purchasing paddy. Additional Chief Secretary Commissioner and Registrar MVS Rami Reddy has lodged an FIR against 33 Paddy Purchasing Center in-charge on indifference and irregularity in the works.

    He said that along with this, 24 center in-charge and secretary have been suspended and four have been given adverse entry. District Manager PCU of Auraiya, District Manager UPSS, District Manager PCF of Sonbhadra and Regional Manager PCF of Kanpur Division have been suspended on complaints of negligence in work. The District Manager PCF has been transferred to Fatehpur.

    He said that along with this, 71 center in-charge secretaries have been warned. One center in-charge was removed from the post and clarification has been sought from 28 center in-charge secretaries. No negligence will be tolerated in paddy purchase.

    He said that special care should be taken to ensure that farmers do not face any inconvenience at paddy purchase centers. He said that immediately any action will be taken against the culprits if there is any inconvenience to the farmers at the paddy purchase centers or if there are complaints of irregularities.
