A meeting of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) constituted for the departmental progress and supervision of the schemes and programs run by the Center, State and Local Administration was held in the meeting hall of the District Panchayat under the chairmanship of MP Shri Mohan Mandavi. Department-wise and agenda-wise review was done by him in the meeting. He directed the officers to take care of the quality in the implementation of the schemes, strict action will be taken against the officials for any kind of negligence and negligence in the works. He said that the concerned officers should work in coordination for development works. MP Shri Mandavi also reviewed the works being done for the prevention of child health program, nutritional rehabilitation center and novel corona virus in the schemes operated in the Department of Health and Family Welfare.
During the review of the Education Department, Shri Mandavi directed the District Education Officer for distribution of dry ration to school children for mid-day meal, for offline studies through mohalla class. Giving information about the construction of railway tracks from Dalli-Rajhara to Rawaghat by the Railway Development Corporation, the concerned departmental officer said that the target of construction of railway station has been set in Tadoki and roads in Bhanupratappur have also been acquired by taking land to go to railway station Directed the concerned officials.
Women and Child Development, Electricity Department, Water Resources Department, Public Health Engineering, Food and Civil Supplies, Agriculture, Forests, National Highways, Municipal Kanker, District Planning and Statistics, CREDA, Panchayat and Rural Development at the meeting of District Development and Monitoring Committee. And under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana, the schemes and programs operated in Kanker district were reviewed and directed to the officials concerned to expedite the works. District Panchayat President, Mr. Hemant Dhruv, while directing the officers on this occasion, said that the government should continuously work to take the government-run schemes to the last person of the district.
Collector Shri Chandan Kumar gave instructions to the officials concerned to complete the roads being constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana with quality soon. During the review of the distribution of social assistance security pension, instructions were given to the Deputy Director of the Social Welfare Department to ensure timely pension disbursement to the beneficiaries. Collector Mr. Chandan Kumar directed the Food Officer that for conducting shops of fair price in 27 new gram panchayats, requesting self-help groups and allot shops.
