  • COVID-19 in India crosses 91 lakh cases, 44,059 cases filed in last 24 hours, 511 deaths

    After the arrival of 44,059 new cases of Kovid-19 in the country, the infection cases in the country has crossed 91 million, out of which 8,562,641 people have become infection free.

    According to the updated data from the Union Health Ministry at 8 am, the cases of infection in the country have increased to 9,139,865. At the same time, after the death of 511 more people, the death toll increased to 133,738.
    The number of active cases in the country for 13 consecutive days is less than five lakh.

    According to statistics, 443,486 people are undergoing treatment in the country, which is 4.85 percent of the total cases. The recovery rate of patients in the country is 93.68 percent. The death rate from Kovid-19 is 1.46 percent.

    According to Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), till November 22, a total of more than 13.25 crore samples were tested for Kovid-19, out of which 849,596 samples were tested on Sunday.

    Total cases of Kovid-19 in India are 20 lakh on 7 August, 30 lakh on 23 August, 40 lakh on 5 September, 50 lakh on 16 September, beyond 60 lakh on 28 September, 70 lakh on 11 October and 29 October. Has crossed 80 lakhs.

    According to the data, it took 21 days to reach the total number of cases of Kovid-19 infection in India from 10 lakh to 20 lakh, while it took 16 more days for the number of 20 to 30 lakh. However, it has taken only 13 days to reach 30 lakh to 40 lakh. At the same time, it took only 11 days to cross the number of 50 lakhs after 40 lakhs. It took 12 days for the number of cases to be 50 lakh to 60 lakh. It took 13 days for 60 to 70 lakhs. It took 19 days to be 70 to 80 lakhs.
    In the country in 110 days, the cases of Kovid-19 were one lakh and in 59 days they had crossed 10 lakh.

  • BCG vaccine can be effective in corona, positive results in elderly

    According to ICMR, its effect is being seen most among the elderly. Scientists are now engaged in T cells, B cells, white blood cell and dendritic cell immunity tests to detect the effect of BCG vaccination.

    The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) on Wednesday (October 28) said that India’s total cases surged to 79,90,322 with 43,893 new COVID-19 infections.

    With 508 new deaths, the death toll has mounted to 1,20,010, according to the Union Health Ministery. Total active cases stand at 6,10,803 after a decrease of 15,054 in the last 24 hours. Total cured cases stand at 72,59,509 with 58,439 new discharges in the last 24 hours.With 1,32,069 total active cases, Maharashtra continues to be the worst affected state by COVID-19 in the country. While 14,78,496 patients have recovered from the disease in the state, 43,463 have died so far.

    West Bengal has 37,172 active cases, while Tamil Nadu and the national capital Delhi have 27,734 and 27,873 active cases respectively.

    Meanwhile, a total of 10,54,87,680 samples have been tested for COVID-19 up to October 27. Of these 10,66,786 samples were tested yesterday, said the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).

    With 488 new deaths, the toll mounted to 1,19,502, as per the Ministry. the total active coronavirus cases are 6,25,857 after a decrease of 27,860 in the last 24 hours. The total cured cases are 72,01,070 with 63,842 new discharges in the last 24 hours.

    With 1,34,657 total active cases, Maharashtra continues to be the worst affected state by COVID-19 in the country. While 14,70,660 patients have recovered from the disease in the state, 43,348 have died so far.

    Among other severely affected states, Karnataka has 75,442 active cases, while 7,19,558 people have recovered and 10,947 have succumbed to the coronavirus.

    Kerala has 93,848 active cases, while 3,02,017 patients have been cured so far in the state along with 1,352 deaths reported due to the disease.

    At present, Maharashtra continues to be at the top of the country’s COVID-19 tally with 2,36,947 active cases. While Karnataka recorded 11,8870 active cases, Kerala has 91,841 active cases.

    As per the data issued by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 11,64,018 samples tested for COVID-19 on Friday. Over 8.57 crores samples of COVID-19 have been tested so far in the country.
