The Mahindra XUV 3XO, initially introduced in India as the XUV300 in 2024, is set to expand its offerings. This model boasts an impressive cabin, feature-rich kit, and a variety of engine options. The ex-showroom price for this car begins at approximately ₹7.49 lakh and extends up to ₹15.80 lakh for the top-spec AX7 L Turbo AT variant. The diesel variant starts at around ₹9.99 lakh.

Mahindra & Mahindra aims to strengthen its position in the compact SUV sector by launching the Mahindra XUV 3XO in 2026. This will include hybrid and electric powertrains. This could mark Mahindra’s first hybrid model in India, integrating a robust hybrid system with a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine.

The Mahindra XUV 3XO EV is anticipated to feature a compact 35kWh battery pack, coupled with an electric motor. Both hybrid and electric variants are expected to undergo some modifications, such as ‘Hybrid’ or ‘EV’ badges, along with new alloy wheels and software updates for the instrument cluster.

The Mahindra Vision X concept SUV, unveiled on August 15, 2025, previews the brand’s next-generation compact SUV. The design of the new-generation XUV 3XO is likely to draw inspiration from the Vision X and may be based on Mahindra’s new NU IQ platform, which supports multiple powertrains.

Visually, the Vision X concept is quite striking. However, design modifications are expected in its production model. The concept features a closed grille with Mahindra’s signature logo, a bonnet, a coupe-like windshield, aero-optimized dual-tone alloy wheels, door handles, and black cladding running from the front to the back. While there has been no official announcement regarding the launch timeline, it will compete with the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Creta, and Kia Sonet in the subcompact SUV segment.

Honda Cars India has announced that it will be passing on the full benefits of the GST reforms of 2025 to its customers, effective September 22nd. The car manufacturer welcomed the government’s decision, stating that this move would not only make it easier for customers to purchase cars but also boost demand during the festive season. To further encourage sales, the Japanese automaker is offering attractive festive offers on all its products, which will particularly benefit those planning to buy a new car during the festive period.

Following the GST revisions, the second-generation Honda Amaze has become cheaper by up to Rs 72,800, while the third-generation Amaze has seen a price reduction of up to Rs 95,500. Honda Elevate prices have been reduced by up to Rs 58,400, and the Honda City is now up to Rs 57,500 cheaper.

Recently, Honda launched the Elevate mid-size SUV with new interior color options and enhanced styling elements, along with special packages. The high-end ZX trim now features a new ivory cabin theme with ivory soft-touch inserts on the door lining and instrument panel, and ivory leatherette seats. It comes with features like 7-color ambient lighting, a new 360-degree surround vision camera, and a new Alpha-Bolad Plus grill as optional features. The V and VX trims have also been updated.

According to media reports, the automaker plans to launch the Elevate hybrid SUV during the 2026 festive season. While information on the powertrain has not yet been revealed, the company might utilize the Atkinson cycle 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder petrol hybrid powertrain of the City e:HEV, along with an eCVT gearbox.

After a long wait, Maruti Suzuki has introduced the new mid-size SUV, Victoris, in India. This 5-seater car is expected to be sold through Arena outlets soon. The price is estimated to be between ₹10 lakh and ₹18 lakh. Notably, this is Maruti’s first CNG car, offering considerable boot space. The exterior design draws inspiration from the e-Vitara and Grand Vitara, but the Victoris incorporates a unique style reminiscent of the European market. At the rear, it features boomerang-shaped 3D LED lamps connected by a light bar. Other features include a wide tailgate and a roof spoiler. The cabin features a large touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also includes a new 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, completing the dual-screen layout, alongside wireless charging, automatic climate control, a steering wheel with mounted controls, and drive modes. Maruti Suzuki offers the Victoris with two hybrid powertrain options: a 1.5-liter mild-hybrid petrol and a 1.5-liter strong-hybrid petrol, both borrowed from the Grand Vitara. Additionally, a CNG-powered variant has been introduced, featuring a hidden tank S-CNG engine for the first time in the segment. This allows for greater boot space and a more spacious cabin compared to the Grand Vitara. The Maruti Suzuki Victoris will compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Toyota Hyryder, Mahindra Scorpio N, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, and Honda Elevate. The SUV has received a 5-star rating in the Bharat NCAP. It is equipped with Level 2 ADAS, 6 airbags, a 360-degree camera system, a Dolby Atmos sound system, and a power-operated tailgate. The Victoris will be exported to over 100 countries, and bookings have commenced with an initial token amount of ₹11,000.

The Maruti Victoris SUV has been unveiled. The Indo-Japanese automaker has introduced this new mid-size SUV, which will be available in six trims: LXI, VXI, ZXI, ZXI(O), ZXI+, and ZXI+(O).…

The Maruti Victoris SUV has been unveiled. The Indo-Japanese automaker has introduced this new mid-size SUV, which will be available in six trims: LXI, VXI, ZXI, ZXI(O), ZXI+, and ZXI+(O). Based on the Grand Vitara, the Victoris SUV shares its powertrain, platform, and many features with its sibling. However, it also boasts features not found in the Grand Vitara. The company will sell this car through its Arena dealership network.

The all-new Victoris will directly compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Honda Elevate, Toyota High Rider, and Volkswagen Taigun in the mid-size SUV segment. Within Maruti Suzuki’s product lineup, this new SUV sits between the Brezza and Grand Vitara. It will be exported to over 100 countries.

One of the most significant features of the new Victoris SUV is its hybrid powertrain, making it the first Arena model with a hybrid setup derived from the Grand Vitara. It includes a 92 bhp, 1.5-liter, 3-cylinder Atkinson cycle petrol engine paired with an electric motor, delivering a maximum of 79 bhp and 141 Nm of torque. This hybrid setup provides a total of 115 bhp and 141 Nm of torque. The new Maruti SUV also comes in a 103 bhp, 1.5-liter K15C petrol mild-hybrid and 89 bhp CNG engine options.

The strong hybrid powertrain comes with an e-CVT gearbox, while the mild-hybrid and CNG variants are paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. A 6-speed torque converter automatic is also available with the mild-hybrid powertrain. A distinguishing feature from the Grand Vitara is the underbody CNG tank fitment, a first for any Maruti Suzuki in India. This frees up boot space, which is limited in the Grand Vitara.

In terms of interior, the Victoris closely resembles the Grand Vitara. However, this new Maruti SUV incorporates several segment-first and Maruti-first features that set it apart. These include a premium Dolby Atmos audio system and Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), making it the first Maruti Suzuki car to offer both features. It also features a powered tailgate, which is not available in the Grand Vitara.

The models share a 10.1-inch Smart Play Pro+ infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ambient door lighting, leatherette seats and steering wheel, a sunroof, a 10.25-inch TFT instrument cluster, rear AC vents, Suzuki connected car features, a head-up display (HUD), a wireless charger, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, a tire pressure monitoring system, a reverse parking camera, cruise control, ISOFIX mounts, 3-point seatbelts for all seats, ESP with hill hold, and much more. The Victoris has also received a 5-star safety rating in the Bharat NCAP (New Car Assessment Program) crash test. This car is available in two color options: Eternal Blue and Mystic Green with dual-tone shades.

Maruti Suzuki is preparing to introduce a new SUV in the Indian market, with the launch slated for September 3rd. This new model will compete with established rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun in the compact SUV segment. Positioned internally between the Brezza and Grand Vitara (GV) models, this new vehicle is generating significant anticipation. The SUV is expected to be built on Suzuki’s Global C platform, sharing similar dimensions with the Grand Vitara. It’s anticipated to feature distinctive design elements like new DRL headlamps and headlights, alongside a high-set hoodline. Multiple engine options are likely, including the K15C 1.5-litre mild-hybrid, possibly tuned for around 101hp and 137 NM of torque.
Mahindra & Mahindra has plans to introduce several new SUVs in the Indian market in the coming years. The car manufacturer will launch multiple new SUVs by 2026, including facelifts, next-generation models, and electric and hybrid vehicles. This article details the features and specifications of these upcoming vehicles.

### Mahindra XEV 7e

Mahindra is set to expand its electric SUV lineup with a new three-row SUV based on the XEV 9e. The electric car, known as the ‘Mahindra XEV 7e,’ is expected to launch in November or December 2025. This SUV will share its platform, powertrain, features, and design language with the XEV 9e. This means the XEV 7e will come with 59kWh and 79kWh LFP battery options, offering ranges of 542 km and 656 km, respectively. However, the driving range of the 7-seater electric car may vary slightly.
