The health department has started a health test for visitors to the Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra border. Seeing the rising outbreak of Corona, Collector Topswar Verma visited the area. He instructed that without thermal checking, no person, irrespective of their means, should enter the border of the state. Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Mithilesh Chaudhary said that in view of the second face of Corona in Maharashtra, extra vigilance is required. He informed that arrangements have been made to thermoscan in Bortalab, bordering Madhya Pradesh. As of 25 February, 890 people have been thermoscanned.
It is worth mentioning that in the first phase of Corona, the people who went to work in another state via Maharashtra came back and the way of everyone came to the Bagnadi border and they went to Odisha and Jharkhand along with the whole state. Due to this, the monstrous form of corona was seen in the state. Due to this, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has issued orders to all border districts to take special vigilance.
