    Intensive diarrhea control fortnight will be celebrated in the district from July 1 to July 15. This intensive diarrhea control fortnight is being started in the state as well as in the district only for the prevention of death due to diarrhea in children. In this fortnight, efforts to control diarrhea in the area will be intensified through various means. Along with distribution of ORS packets in the homes of children of 6 months to 5 years by Mitanin in the villages, the method of making solution will also be told. Apart from this, chlorine tablets will also be distributed for water purification.
    Awareness in this regard is being spread among the people through various communication media like writing slogans on the wall, Whatsapp, Facebook. During the counseling sessions organized in the villages, the importance of ORS zinc, usefulness of breastfeeding along with the proper method of washing hands will also be demonstrated by the health workers. CMHO Dr. Sonwani further informed that adequate storage of ORS Zinc has been ensured in all health institutions and ORS-Zinc corners have been set up in OPD and IPD wards of these centers so that people can easily from which it became available. In this, private medical institutions will also be included in coordination with the Indian Medical Association. Under Development Partners, cooperation will be obtained by coordinating with other institutions, Mahila Bal Vikas Panchayat, Local Self-Government, Livelihood Mission, IMA, IAP in diarrhea control.
