Bhupesh Baghel during his two-day stay at Korba, during the program organized in the first Ghantaghar Open Auditorium inaugurated 883 development works worth Rs 836 crore. Along with this, 7.50 crore material was provided to 686 beneficiaries. The Chief Minister announced the name of the Medical College as Sw Bisahudas Mahant, the name of the Government School, the name of the Self-MLA Krishna Jaiswal, the name of Bhaisma Kaal, the name of the former Deputy Chief Minister Sw Pyare Lal Kanwar and the Tehsil of Azharbahar and Barpati.
After coming to the district, the Chief Minister also first inspected Gothan situated in village Mahora in the district and reached CSEB Football Ground. He was accompanied by Assembly Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant, MP Jyotsna Mahant, Revenue Minister Jaisingh Agrawal, Minister in-charge Premasai Singh Tekam, MLA Nankiram Kanwar. Collector Kiran Kaushal presented the welcome address Hardibazar-Tarada-Sarvamangala-Imlichhapar 27.19 km concrete road to be built at a cost of Chief Minister 199 crores, 64 km Katghora-Hardibazar-Baloda-Akaltara Industrial Corridor to be built at a cost of 204 crores, 22 km Chotia-Chirmiri at a cost of 30 crores Road upgrade and renovation, Bhumi Pujan of 29 km Kotmi-Pasan-Katghora road upgrade and renovation at a cost of 17.67 crore.
