A meeting of the deadline was held in the district collectorate’s meeting here today under the chairmanship of Collector Shri SN Rathore. At the meeting, the collector reviewed the implementation of various departmental schemes. During this, he inquired about the progress of announcements made by Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel on migration to Korea district. Seeing the progress of Adventure Park Chirmiri, he instructed the Subdivisional Officer Revenue Kharagwan and Municipal Corporation Commissioner Chirmiri to collect DPR, map, measles and other important information. Similarly, he was asked to submit information about Medical College in Manendragarh and Government College in Nagpur.
In the meeting, the Collector asked to make water harvesting in any new building or house in the district and it is mandatory to follow it. For water conservation and promotion, all the departments are working for water conservation like dabri, pond, dam, drain etc. Everyone has been instructed to recharge the water.
While reviewing the paddy procurement in the meeting, the collector said that arrangements should be put in place at every procurement center so that the farmers have convenience. Shri Rathore directed the nodal officers of all paddy procurement centers to visit their respective committees daily and monitor the irregularities and resolve them at the earliest. Also, he purchased the paddy so far in the district and inquired about stopping illegal paddy transport.
Taking information about the implementation of the Godhan Nyaya Yojana, the collector discussed the purchase of cow dung, production of vermi compost and livelihood promotion activities in Gothanas. The Agriculture Science Center directed to make maximum use of vermicompost produced from the Godhan Nyaya Yojana under the agriculture, NREGA and Bari development, wherever cultivation, vegetable production is done. Ensure cent percent labor registration by widely publicizing the various schemes run by the Labor Department. So that eligible beneficiaries can get benefits of the schemes.
