It all started on April 2 when Pandav Nagar police nabbed Nadeem and Monu alias Abhishek with 45.76 kg ganja and 2.65 lakh cash, filing an FIR that set the investigation in motion. Technical oversight and tips led to the capture of Ghaziabad’s Sher Khan on April 9, who had gone underground by deactivating his phone.

The net widened on April 11 with Pinky Kaur alias Don’s arrest, yielding 2.636 kg ganja, 2.66 lakh rupees, and packing gear. Intelligence pointed to Bihar as the source, prompting a sting near Sanjay Lake where Deepak Patel and Vikas Rai were apprehended with 10.3 kg ganja.

The total haul stands at 58.696 kg ganja, street value approximately 30 lakhs, alongside 5.31 lakh cash. This syndicate ran like a business: bulk imports from Bihar, storage in leased Delhi-NCR hideouts, and retail distribution via neighborhood peddlers in pouches.

Surprisingly clean records for all six arrested so far. Police are digging deeper to dismantle the entire operation, signaling zero tolerance for drug networks infiltrating the capital.
