  • Chief Minister inaugurated the glowing pond tied with colorful lights

    Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the beautification works of the historic Bandha Talab during his stay in Kondagaon. Spread over 15 acres, the work of tow-wall, peaching, pathway, fountain, stone ghat and electrical beautification has been done at a cost of Rs. 02 crore 50 lakh. Boat excursion facility will also be available for the visitors. The Chief Minister also unveiled the statue of the newly constructed Veer Gundadhur and Veerangana Rani Durgavati and the famous craftsman of the district Late Jayadev Baghel on the banks of this historic pond. On this occasion, the Chief Minister along with Rajya Sabha MP Mrs. Phoolodevi Netam, Bastar MP Mr. Deepak Badge, Commerce and Industry Minister Mr. Kavasi Lakhma, Public Health Engineering and Village Industries Minister Mr. Guru Rudrakumar, Kondagaon MLA Mohan Markam, along with public representative Ravi Ghosh, MLA Representative Manish Srivastava, Councilor Tarun Golchha, Collector Shri Pushpendra Kumar Meena, Police Officer Shri Sindharth Tiwari and other officers and employees were present.

    Panipuri and coconut water were also enjoyed at Chowpatty situated on the banks of the pond. Also, the Chief Minister took a photo with two children Aman and Vaibhav Mercam and a selfie with a little girl Kriti. On this occasion, there was a race to take selfies with the Chief Minister and the Chief Minister accepted his request and took a selfie with him.

  • Make oxygen work in Korba fast: Shri Jaisingh Agrawal

    As per Bhupesh Baghel’s intention, preparations were started to develop Ashok Vatika in the center of Korba city as Oxygen. Revenue Minister Shri Jaisinghwal has instructed the officers of the district administration and the administration of the corporation to complete this work expeditiously.
    It is worth mentioning here that during the stay of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel Korba district, Rs 10 lakh was announced for the manufacture of Oxygen in Korba city as per the demand of the local people. Preparations have been started by the local administration to ensure fast compliance of this announcement of the Chief Minister. In this connection, Revenue Minister Shri Jai Singh Aggarwal inspected Ashok Vatika with the officials and gave necessary instructions to the officers.
    The Revenue Minister along with the Collector and officials saw the current status of the garden. In a brief meeting in the garden itself, the possibilities of having a wider campus available and doing various types of work were explored and this was discussed with the officials. During this period, the officials were asked to start work with preparation of action plan soon. The development of the garden will provide a good place for daily work for the residents. Ashok Vatika includes Boundarywall, Fountain, Water Supply, Extension of Yoga Huts, Acupressure Pathway, Children’s Garden, Butterfly, Expansion of Wholeball Ground, Construction of platforms, Sandalwood Planting, Change Room, Walk-way Construction, Parking Construction, Other The need for beautification work, construction of public toilets at four places has been identified. After this garden is fully developed, people will be able to enter for free from five to nine o’clock in the morning and five o’clock in the evening.

  • Mahadev Ghat will be the center of attraction: Kids play ground, fountain, foodpark and electrical furnishings will attract tourists

    Twenty three million 41 thousand rupees will be spent for construction and development works to make Mahadev Ghat Annikat region attractive for tourists and visitors. A children’s garden with children’s play ground, fountain and light-furnishing decoration will be made in the Enicut enclave under Durg and Raipur district. Here the parking food zone, street light and afroach road with land scrapping on both sides will also be constructed. Similarly, a bridge is proposed to be constructed along with a suspension bridge connecting the two banks of the Kharun River.

    Administrative approval has been granted to the Chief Engineer Mahanadi Project, Water Resources Department, Raipur, from the Mahanadi Bhavan, the Ministry of Water Resources Department of the state government, to carry out the development and construction works of Mahadev Ghat Enicut Zone.
