At a landmark event in Jaipur’s Birla Auditorium, Rajasthan inked key MoUs with top institutions including Hyderabad’s English and Foreign Languages University and the National Skill Development Corporation under the Foreign Language Communication Skills Program.

Central Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan lauded the spirited youth of Rajasthan, crediting their natural talents in diligence, creativity, enterprise, and cultural integration. Drawing inspiration from PM Narendra Modi, he observed a paradigm shift: ‘The modern youth values skills as much as, if not more than, academic degrees.’

The minister foresaw a job boom from the proposed EU free trade deal, especially for those fluent in international tongues. Beyond conversation, languages foster societal bonds and comprehension.

The New Education Policy-2020 marks a revolutionary stride towards Viksit Bharat, championing multilingual proficiency and worldwide perspectives. Proficiency in French, German, Japanese, Korean, or Spanish promises enhanced employability. Pradhan confidently predicted that Rajasthan’s rich legacies, from Prithviraj Chauhan epics to folklores, would gain international acclaim through translations.

Opportunities abound in Japan and Korea across tech, trade, and marketing, powered by linguistic prowess. State Minister Jayant Chaudhary reinforced the dual approach: mother tongues for cultural roots and confidence-building in primary education, foreign languages for global dialogue.

CM Bhajan Lal Sharma slammed past paper leak scandals that eroded youth trust, contrasting with his administration’s spotless record of 351 transparent exams. ‘Our mission: empower youth to generate employment, not chase it,’ he affirmed, quoting Swami Vivekananda to motivate language learning for national and global success.

These MoUs deliver practical training in high-demand languages, vital in a connected era for roles in MNCs, global bodies, and abroad. They bridge gaps for tourists, investors, and businesses.

With tourism flourishing in Rajasthan—a magnet for global travelers—multilingual expertise is golden for guides, hospitality pros, agents, and startups, fueling economic growth.
