  • Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike to unfurl the flag in Raipu

    Governor Ms. Anusuiya Uike will hoist the joint parade by hoisting the flag at 9 am in the main function held at the Police Parade Ground in the capital Raipur on the occasion of Republic Day on 26 January. On this occasion, Governor Ms. Uike will honor the Corona Warriors of the state along with conveying their message to the public.

    Ms. Uike will arrive at the venue at 8.59 am as per the scheduled ceremony of the main event. The Governor will take the salute by flag hoisting and guard of honor at 9 am. From 9.02 am to 9.22 am, the Governor will send a message to the people of the state. Ms. Uike will honor the Corona Warriors of the state from 9.23 am to 9.29 am. The program will conclude at 9.30 am.

  • Bhupesh Baghel to visit Bastar district on January 25 and 26

    Flag hoisting will be done in all the districts on the occasion of Republic Day held on 26 January. CM Bhupesh Baghel will hoist the flag in Bastar.

  • The main function of 71st Republic Day will be held in Dr. Shobharam Dewangan School Campus

    In today’s deadline meeting, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat, Shri Mayank Chaturvedi reviewed in detail the preparations and responsibilities entrusted to the departments of the National Republic Day to be celebrated on 26th January.     It was informed at the meeting that flag hoisting will be done by Parliamentary Secretary Shri Chandradev Prasad Rai at the main function of the 71st Republic Day to be held in the Eklavya Sports Complex of Dr. Shobharam Dewangan Government Higher Secondary School located at the district headquarters. The ceremony will be saluted by a contingent of district police force and city soldier. In view of Kovid 19 this year, only the District Police Force and the city troop will give a parade and salute to the tricolor at the Republic Day celebrations. People from other security forces will not attend the parade.
