  • Recognition of 240 schools canceled after flagging of the Fee Regulations Bill

    Fee Regulation Bill 2020 in private schools of the state has been passed by majority. According to the rule, the fee committee nominated in this fees committee will have two members enrolled from the primary, middle, high school school. To curb the fees of private schools during the corona virus infection, the rules of the Non-Governmental School Fees Regulations Act 2020, created by the state government, are also being dismantled. The fees committee was not formed here despite repeated instructions to private schools. Therefore, the District Education Officer has issued an order to end the accreditation of 240 schools. These schools will not have the right to enroll from session 2021-22. According to the order issued by the Department of Education, the schools whose accreditation has been done away with. They must compulsorily submit the registration register, admission register, list of children admitted under the Right to Education Act and other documents to the Block Education Officer Office as soon as possible. District Education Officer GR Chandrakar said that under the new Act of the state government, a fee compliance committee is to be formed in all private schools. But out of this, there are 240 schools which did not constitute the committee. Therefore their recognition has been removed.
