In a tragic incident in the Supela area of Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, a 17-year-old boy lost his life in a road accident on Monday night. The accident occurred when he and a friend were riding a scooter. A stray dog suddenly appeared in their path, and in an attempt to avoid it, the scooter went out of control, resulting in a crash. The scooter veered off the road and into a drain. The young man died at the scene, while his companion sustained injuries.

The incident took place near the Lakdi Taal in the Supela police station area. The deceased has been identified as 17-year-old Ronak Dubey. Reports indicate that Ronak and his friend were on their way to lock a temple when the incident occurred. Upon seeing a dog crossing the road, Ronak attempted to swerve the scooter. However, due to excessive speed, he lost control. The scooter first collided with the dog before veering into the drain.
