  • Guidelines issued for implementation of ‘Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana’ in Kharif 2020

For wheat irrigated, a premium of Rs 330 per hectare will be payable for the crop.
    Under the insurance scheme, indebted farmers will be compulsorily insured by the bank, cooperative society. They only have to produce declaration and sowing certificate. Aruni farmers can be insured in bank, cooperative society and public service center by giving insurance proposal form, latest Aadhar card, bank passbook, land ownership evidence B-1 Panchasala or tenant or partner farmer document, sowing certificate and declaration letter.
    Farmers can insure their crops through their respective committees, concerned banks, insurance supply company (Agriculture Insurance Company Limited), Public Service Center for crop insurance. Farmers have to be insured from one place in case of agriculture loan being sanctioned from different financial institutions for a notified area and notified crop. The farmer will have to inform the bank concerned.   • Registration of farmers will be done till November 10 for the procurement of paddy and maize in Raipur

        The Food and Civil Supplies Department of the state government has issued a letter to all the divisional commissioners, district collectors, registrar cooperative societies and the managing director of Apex Bank and directed to take necessary action.

     Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said in his address on the occasion that the state government was fulfilling its promise. Protection of interests of farmers, poor and laborers is our commitment. He said that we have started many innovative schemes for the betterment of farmers and poor people of the state, besides fulfilling the promise of waiving paddy, procuring paddy, irrigation tax waiver, reduction of electricity bill. Efforts are being made to improve the economic condition of farmers and villagers through Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Yojana and Godhan Nyaya Yojana. On this occasion, the Chief Minister, while referring to the three ordinances related to agriculture by the Central Government, said that these three laws are not in the interest of farmers and common people. This will affect the livelihood of farmers, agricultural laborers as well as common people. There will be huge losses due to the introduction of hoarding, contact farming and private market.

     The Chief Minister said that the government is fulfilling the promise of payment of funds to the beneficiaries in 15 days under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana. So far an amount of Rs 20 crore 72 lakh has been given in lieu of cow dung purchased in the last four fortnight. Due to this, the poor villagers and livestock farmers are getting economic benefits. The Chief Minister said that at present, thirty thousand quintal vermi compost fertilizer has been produced in Gouthans, its quantity will increase further in the coming time. Arrangements will also be made for marketing of vermi manure. He said that the goal of building Gothan in all Gram Panchayats and cow dung in all Gothanas should be arranged.

    Registered farmers do not need registration: Akbar
    Forest Minister Mohammad Akbar said that the target of purchasing 85 lakh metric tonnes of paddy has been set this year. In the last kharif season, 19 lakh 55 thousand farmers had registered. Not all farmers sell paddy. In the previous season, 16 lakh 90 thousand farmers sold their paddy compared to the registered farmers. Akbar said that all the farmers of the last kharif season registered in Bhuiyan do not have to register separately. The decision to give the difference amount of the previous season, the installment of the same is still being given. According to what is currently going on, Minister Bhagat has said to give Rs 10,000 per acre.

    The state government will create a data bank of farmers. For this, Aadhaar and mobile numbers will be taken from farmers. Farmers registered last year will also be considered eligible for purchase of paddy and maize this year. There will be no need to come to the committee to register these farmers. However, if any registered farmers want to get amended already, then it can be done through limited modules. The data of the registered farmers will be updated from August 17 to October 31. The registered land and paddy and maize acreage and measles of registered farmers will be updated with the help of Revenue Department. Please tell that the work of farmer registration is done according to the revenue document, so the revenue department will make the data available for registration after completing the work of Girdawari. Aadhar and mobile numbers will also be taken from all farmers at Girdawari. Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department has appointed all the divisional commissioners, collectors, Registered Cooperative Societies and Managing Director Nava Raipur sent a letter in this regard. In this, it has been asked to provide the list of the registered land of farmers registered in Kharif 2019-20 and the information on paddy acreage and measles to the Patwari of the concerned area.
    One and half month for new registration: For Kharif 2020-21, new farmers will
    be registered between August 17 and October 31 . For new registration, farmers will have to apply to the Tehsil office along with the relevant documents.
