Among the funded initiatives, human-wildlife conflict resolution stands out with ₹34.75 crore. Ayodhya’s flood shelters get ₹19.31 lakh, while Varanasi’s ghats will feature ₹5.28 crore floating barriers for better flood control.

Flood mitigation extends to purchasing rubberized motor boats for tehsils in 44 districts at ₹40 crore. Community-level efforts include ₹43.45 crore for disaster training in schools, awareness campaigns, and grassroots planning.

Child safety is prioritized through the ₹7.5 crore ‘Bal Tarnveer’ program to curb drowning deaths. Training allocations cover municipal workers (₹5.18 crore), civil defense (₹14.62 crore), and home guards (₹8.23 crore).

Principal Secretary Revenue Aparna U’s comprehensive briefing paved the way for approvals. Goyal noted this infusion will transform the state’s crisis response into a robust, tech-savvy system, safeguarding lives and livelihoods effectively.
