Investigators in the Delhi blast case have unearthed a new hideout linked to alleged terror operative Dr. Muzammil, situated near Faridabad. The property, located in Khori Jamalpur village, was rented by Muzammil under the guise of being a Kashmiri fruit trader. This revelation comes as the National Investigation Agency (NIA) continues its deep dive into the terror module operating in the Faridabad and Mewat regions.

The former sarpanch of Khori Jamalpur recognized Muzammil when NIA officials brought him to the property during the investigation, confirming the rental arrangement and the fabricated cover story. This discovery adds another layer to Muzammil’s alleged network of safe houses, which appear strategically placed in semi-rural areas close to key routes and institutions like Al-Falah University.

Evidence suggests Muzammil made numerous visits to this Khori Jamalpur property, often accompanied by his associate Shine Saeed. These repeated trips indicate the location likely served as more than just a residence, potentially functioning as a crucial meeting point or logistical base for the broader terror plot. The pattern of using such semi-rural locations points to a deliberate attempt to evade scrutiny while maintaining operational proximity.

Further details reveal an earlier interim storage site for explosives near Al-Falah University. Before being moved to Fatehpur Taga village, the explosives were allegedly concealed for approximately 12 days in a field room close to the university campus. Muzammil is believed to have personally transported the explosives to this location, highlighting his direct involvement in the logistics. The investigation is also focusing on local assistance received, including the alleged role of Imam Ishtiaq, who has been arrested, in storing the materials. Investigators are examining the extent of his involvement in handling and moving the explosive consignment.

Authorities in Pulwama, South Kashmir, have demolished the residence of Dr. Umar Nabi in a significant overnight operation. Dr. Nabi is allegedly connected to the devastating Delhi Red Fort blast case, which tragically claimed the lives of 12 people. This demolition is part of a wider, intensified effort by law enforcement to dismantle networks suspected of involvement in the deadly explosion. The blast, which occurred near the Lal Quila Metro Station, destroyed multiple vehicles and resulted in a high casualty count. Preliminary investigations suggest a link to a terror module recently exposed in Faridabad, with several arrests already made as authorities pursue a comprehensive investigation to root out the perpetrators. The government has officially designated the Delhi blast as a ‘terror’ incident, with the Cabinet observing a moment of silence for the victims and pledging to bring those responsible to justice. In connection with the investigation, Al Falah University in Faridabad is also facing scrutiny, as several medical professionals associated with the institution have been apprehended. Consequently, a forensic audit of the university’s records has been ordered, alongside investigations into its financial dealings by the Enforcement Directorate and other agencies.

A startling development in the Delhi car blast investigation indicates that a significant portion of explosives remains at large. Approximately 300 kilograms of ammonium nitrate, part of a larger 3,200…

A startling development in the Delhi car blast investigation indicates that a significant portion of explosives remains at large. Approximately 300 kilograms of ammonium nitrate, part of a larger 3,200 kg consignment, is still missing after being allegedly smuggled into India via Bangladesh and Nepal. Security agencies are now in a race against time to recover this potent explosive material and prevent its potential misuse.

Authorities have managed to seize nearly three tonnes of ammonium nitrate from various hideouts as part of the Faridabad terror module probe. However, the missing 300 kg poses a critical security threat, prompting nationwide alerts and intensified searches. Officials emphasize that the situation is far from secure, and efforts are focused on locating the concealed explosive and apprehending those responsible.

The investigation suggests that the ammonium nitrate was illicitly trafficked into India through neighboring countries, Bangladesh and Nepal. Terrorists allegedly stole the substance from a fertilizer company before initiating the smuggling operation. The full scale of the planned attack, involving over 200 high-intensity IEDs intended for simultaneous detonation, highlights the gravity of the recovered materials and the danger posed by the remaining quantity.

Initial findings point to a broader conspiracy with targets including religious sites like Ayodhya and Varanasi, as well as high-profile locations in Delhi and surrounding areas such as the Red Fort and India Gate. The module, reportedly active since January 2025, aimed to emulate the devastating impact of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Coordinated raids are currently underway across several northern Indian states to dismantle the network and secure any remaining explosives.

Delhi is experiencing significant disruptions following a powerful car explosion near the Red Fort Metro Station. The incident has severely impacted traffic flow across the national capital. In response to the ongoing investigation and site clearing operations, the Delhi Traffic Police have implemented comprehensive restrictions.

Commuters are strongly urged to avoid Netaji Subhash Marg between Chatta Rail Cut and Subhash Marg Cut, in both directions, starting from 6:00 AM. These diversions are crucial to facilitate the work of police and forensic teams currently collecting evidence from the blast site, which remains cordoned off. The explosion scattered car debris, including the steering wheel and wiring, up to 300 meters away.

Investigators have identified the prime suspect in the bombing as Dr. Mohammad Umar, a fugitive linked to the Faridabad terror module. CCTV footage revealed Umar driving the Hyundai i20 that detonated. Sources indicate the attack was carried out by Umar and two accomplices in a state of panic following earlier arrests in Faridabad. The explosion, confirmed to be from a high-intensity ANFO explosive, occurred during peak tourist hours near Sunehri Masjid. The vehicle was reportedly parked for approximately three hours before detonating at the Subhash Marg traffic signal.

Investigations into the recent Delhi blast near the Red Fort Metro Station have reportedly identified Dr. Umar Mohammad, a physician from Pulwama, as the alleged driver of the Hyundai i20 car used in the explosion. Sources indicate that Dr. Mohammad was connected to a terror module based in Faridabad, where a significant quantity of explosives was previously seized. The first visual evidence of the driver has emerged through CCTV footage, showing a masked individual behind the wheel. Preliminary findings suggest the use of ammonium nitrate, fuel oil, and detonators in the blast, which claimed at least nine lives and injured twenty people. This development follows the apprehension of eight individuals, including three doctors, and the seizure of 2,900 kg of explosives in Faridabad just hours before the Delhi incident. The explosives recovered included ammonium nitrate, potassium nitrate, and sulfur, with a substantial portion suspected to be ammonium nitrate along with arms and ammunition. In response, Delhi Police have registered an FIR under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) and the Explosives Act. A high-level security review meeting, chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, is scheduled to discuss the escalating security situation and ongoing investigations.
