Horrifying new CCTV footage from the Red Fort Metro Station in Delhi has revealed the devastating impact of a car explosion that occurred near the historic landmark. The video clearly shows tremors felt up to 40 feet underground, with flooring, shutters, and food stalls violently shaking. This explosion, which claimed 13 lives on Monday evening, occurred directly above a metro line, raising concerns about potential catastrophic damage to the underground infrastructure.

The investigation into the incident has uncovered a meticulously planned terror operation. Authorities revealed that the perpetrators had prepared three car-borne improvised explosive devices (IEDs). One white Hyundai i20 exploded at the scene. A second vehicle, a red Ford EcoSport, was discovered abandoned in Faridabad. The search is ongoing for a third, as yet unrecovered, vehicle.

This sophisticated terror module is believed to have links to organizations such as Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind. Eight individuals have been arrested so far, including three doctors associated with Al-Falah University. Following these arrests, a significant cache of explosives, chemicals, and related materials, totaling 2,900 kilograms, was seized. All border crossings and police stations have been placed on high alert as the manhunt for the third vehicle and any remaining explosives intensifies.

India has narrowly averted a catastrophic terror attack that would have been one of the deadliest in global history. Security agencies have successfully dismantled a sophisticated terror module planning to detonate 32 car bombs, armed with a staggering 3,200 kilograms of explosives. This meticulously planned operation, involving a ‘white-collar’ terror network, aimed to unleash widespread devastation, potentially claiming thousands of lives and traumatizing the nation.

The sheer scale of the uncovered conspiracy has sent shockwaves through India’s security establishment. Investigations revealed a plan to deploy 32 vehicles as mobile explosive devices, each packed with approximately 100 kilograms of ammonium nitrate. This arsenal of over three metric tons of explosives was enough to obliterate entire neighborhoods.

To contextualize the destructive potential, a single bomb blast that caused significant damage previously would pale in comparison to the synchronized detonation of 32 such powerful devices. Experts warn that if detonated together, a 3,200-kilogram ammonium nitrate bomb is equivalent to 2.5 tons of TNT. Such an explosion would obliterate everything within a 50-meter radius, cause fatal lung injuries from shockwaves traveling at immense speeds, and lead to widespread destruction of buildings and shattering of glass for hundreds of meters.

Historical attacks highlight the gravity of this averted disaster. The 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, which used 1,800 kilograms of explosives, killed 168 people. The 1993 Mumbai serial blasts, utilizing around 1,500 kilograms, resulted in 257 deaths. Based on these figures, the thwarted Indian plot could have resulted in hundreds, if not thousands, of casualties, dwarfing these historical events and potentially becoming the deadliest terror attack ever recorded.

Despite the significant breakthrough, critical aspects of the plot remain unresolved. A portion of the explosives, 300 kilograms, is still missing, raising concerns about potential secondary threats. Furthermore, out of the 32 planned vehicles, only three have been identified, leaving the whereabouts of the remaining 29 cars unknown. These missing elements could provide crucial insights into the full extent of the terror network and its operational capabilities.

The swift and decisive action by intelligence agencies has undoubtedly prevented an unimaginable tragedy. However, the ongoing investigation underscores the persistent threat of terrorism. Vigilance remains paramount as security forces continue their efforts to neutralize all remaining elements of this dangerous network and ensure national security.

A Lucknow-based woman doctor has been apprehended in connection with a significant terror module investigation spanning Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. Authorities discovered an AK-47 assault rifle within a Swift Dzire car registered under her name. The arrested individual has been identified as Dr. Shaheen. This arrest follows closely on the heels of a massive recovery of 360 kilograms of explosives and numerous weapons from a rented property in Faridabad’s Dhauj village. That property was occupied by Dr. Muzammil Shakil, a physician from Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir, who was reportedly teaching at Al-Falah Medical College. Dr. Shaheen is the eighth individual to be taken into custody as part of this ongoing probe, which is believed to have ties to terror groups Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH). She is the third doctor to be arrested in connection with the case. Officials have confirmed she has been transported to Srinagar for further questioning. This breakthrough is the result of a collaborative effort between the police forces of Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana, alongside central intelligence agencies. In a related discovery, an additional 2,563 kilograms of ammonium nitrate were found at another location rented by Dr. Shakil in Faridabad. The owner of that property is currently being questioned by authorities.
