  • Home Minister arrives at the house of martyr Amit Nayak with the Chief Minister’s Diwali message

    Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has sent best wishes to the families of the martyred soldiers on the auspicious occasion of Deepawali. Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu today reached the house of martyr Shri Amit Nayak of Durg district and met his family members and conveyed the message of Chief Minister and wished him a happy Diwali festival. On this occasion, Inspector General of Police, Durg Range, Mr. Vivekananda Sinha and Additional Superintendent of Police, Rohit Jha were also present.

    It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has sent auspicious wishes to the families of the martyred soldiers on the auspicious occasion of Deepawali. The Chief Minister’s greeting message is also being presented to the families of the martyrs through the Director General of Police and the Superintendents of Police of the respective districts. While paying tribute to the martyrdom of the martyrs, Mr. Baghel has said that after the formation of the state, 517 brave soldiers of the Chhattisgarh police have sacrificed their lives and sacrifices for the state and country, showing indomitable courage. The valor and valor of our soldiers can never be forgotten. The government is taking prompt action for the welfare of the families of the martyrs. Compassionate appointment has been provided to the families of 47 martyrs in the last two years. Along with this, immediate assistance has been provided to the families of the martyrs, in the last two years, assistance of about 21 crore rupees has been provided to the families of the martyrs. He said that we are always worried that the families of the martyred soldiers should not face financial hardship. In this context, the ex-gratia amount (ex-gratia grant) given to the families of the martyred soldiers has been increased from Rs. 3 lakh to Rs. 20 lakh. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that the families of the martyrs should not consider themselves alone, you are part of our family and we are always with you in all your happiness and sorrow.
