The engineer had demanded an advance payment from a contractor in exchange for securing work prior to the tender process. The ACB team conducted a raid at the executive engineer’s government quarter in Saket Colony, where he was caught red-handed taking the bribe. The ACB is currently questioning him, which has caused a stir within the department.
