In a move to accelerate growth in southern Tamil Nadu, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin lands in Madurai this Saturday for a whirlwind tour packed with project launches that span technology, highways, education, and village welfare.

Kicking off post-arrival at the airport, Stalin’s first stop is the ELCOT Technology Park for a formal program, followed swiftly by the ribbon-cutting for Pinnacle Industries’ new capacity-building facility. These steps reflect the state’s strategy to foster innovation and skill development in key sectors.

At the bustling Thamukkam Maidanam, the CM will lead the ceremony for a critical highway stretch, promising smoother travel and trade links. In a nod to heritage, he’ll remotely inaugurate statues of the iconic Maruthu Pandiyar brothers, freedom warriors whose sacrifices continue to inspire.

Shifting gears to academia, Stalin visits Meenakshi Government Women’s Arts College to launch a cutting-edge computer laboratory, a boon for aspiring students seeking tech-savvy learning environments.

Venturing to Vandiyur, the agenda features unveilings of modern amenities at the Anguran Science Center, a fresh panchayat office, and the official start of a vital rural water supply scheme serving 867 households. These efforts tackle grassroots challenges head-on.

A short break at Madurai Guest House precedes interactions with DMK’s dedicated cadre at a party meet. The itinerary closes at Gandhi Mandapam in the Gandhi Memorial Museum for a Jan Nyay Manch event, blending official pomp with public service ethos.

Wrapping up by 6:30 PM with a special flight to Chennai, this visit reinforces Tamil Nadu’s relentless drive for equitable development, from urban tech hubs to remote village taps.
