  • Construction of Jail Tiraha Bridge will make traffic more convenient, 41 crore bridge to be launched in February

    The public was suffering time and financial losses due to repeated closure of Hudco railway crossing near Jail Tiraha on Durg-Bhilai border. Now construction of overbridge will not only facilitate the commuters to reach the district headquarters including schools, hospitals, but will also save time. The construction of the bridge is in the final stage. Preparations are being made for its release in the month of February. Durg MLA Arun Vora said that the entire structure has been prepared on the 37 pillars of the over bridge being built on the Hudco railway crossing. Lighting, asphaltization and dyeing paint work are also towards perfection. Motilal Vora, the then Rajya Sabha MP for the said railway over bridge being constructed at a cost of Rs 41 crore, also had a communication with the state and central government. This construction is going to be completed in about two years. Arun Vora, MLA who came for inspection, told the officials of Loniv Bridge Department that the work should be executed as soon as possible. In February, the grand bridge will be dedicated and dedicated to the citizens of Durg-Bhilai by the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Public Works Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu.

  • Chief Minister inaugurated newly constructed building of Municipal Corporation Risali

    Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated the new office building of Risali Municipal Corporation during his stay in Durg-Bhilai on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti. In this program, he distributed pattas to the beneficiaries under the Rajiv Gandhi Aashraya Yojana.
    Chief Minister Mr. Baghel made several important announcements on this occasion-
    Announcement of immediate start of 30 bed hospital in Risali, this hospital will be expanded to 100 beds.
    An outdoor stadium will be built in Risali.
    Approval of 50 lakh rupees for construction of the garden.
    The beautification of the pond will also be done.
    The entire blueprint of development will be drawn by taking feedback from the public.
    On this occasion, Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu, Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria, Forest Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar, MLA Mr. Arun Vora and many public representatives were present.

  • Bhupesh Baghel will be on a tour of Durg-Bhilai, will gift crores of development works

    Bhupesh Baghel will hand over various development works worth more than Rs 268 crore to the Durg district on January 12, including the inauguration of development works worth Rs 249.57 crore and Bhoomi Pujan of Rs 18.86 crore. The Chief Minister will inaugurate the Jamul Water Augmentation Scheme constructed at a cost of Rs 23 crore 46 lakh 30 thousand. Apart from this, the Chief Minister will perform Bhoomipujan in the college building to be built at a cost of Rs. 4.66 crore in Jamul. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate the building of Rural Road Network Management Unit (RRNMU) constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana at a cost of Rs 5 crore 35 lakh.

    The Chief Minister will inaugurate the Municipal Corporation office in Risali. With the construction of this building, now the people of Risali Corporation will get a lot of facilities. Apart from this, the Chief Minister will also inaugurate work of more than 12.74 crores under Amrit Mission in Risali sector and Bhoomi Pujan of development works worth Rs 1.59 crores. Under Baghel Amrit Mission, 32-32 lakh liter overhead water tank at Rooobandha and Newai, 12 lakh liter overhead water tank at Purana and 10-10 lakh liter overhead water tank at Maroda and Dundera, 6 MLD at Morid. He will also inaugurate a water treatment plant of capacity. Similarly, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay will inaugurate Manglik Bhawan constructed at a cost of Rs. 1 crore 7 lakh 36 thousand in Baghel Ward No. 61 Pragati Nagar Maitri Kunj.
