Bhupesh Baghel will inaugurate the new facility being launched by the Transport Department under the name ‘Tunhar Sarkar Tunhar Dwar Abhi Necessary Papers Your Door’ at 12 noon today from his residence office. Through this new facility, 22 transport services related to all types of smart card based driving license and registration certificate will be delivered by the Transport Department to the home address of the applicants and vehicle owners through Speed Post. Applicants have to apply on www.parivahan.gov.in to get the services. .
Transport Minister Mohammad Akbar said that in this new facility being launched by the Transport Department, 10 licensed and 12 vehicle related services will be delivered to the home. Registration of new vehicles, modification of old vehicles in RCC, driving license and registration certificate (RC) after new driving license and change in old license should be made available directly to the registered address through speed post of India Post within a maximum of 7 days. Will go While dispatching them by the department, SMS will be sent to the given address of the applicants along with the tracking ID of the speed post, so that the applicants can get the commodity status information. In case the applicant is not available at home, the applicant will be informed for delivery through SMS.
Minister Akbar said that the cases to be received from the applicants related to the vehicle such as new registration of motor vehicles, transfer of ownership, alternation of motor vehicle, change of address in registered card, change in motor vehicle, fresh RC of finance, hypothecation add-continue-cancellation , Second copy of registered card, registration number redirection, renewal of registration will be approved by the Transport Officer after necessary examination of documents by the Transport Office and after necessary inspection of the vehicles as per the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act. For smooth operation with this new system, helpline number 75808-08030 is being issued by the Transport Department. Through this helpline, applicants can get information regarding dispatch of smart card based driving license and registration certificate after approval to the transport offices.

RAIPUR: The Chhattisgarh transport department is all set to introduce an advanced centralised system to facilitate contactless procedure for issuing smart card-based certificates directly at the doorsteps via postal services.No more struggling for requisite important documents, no need to stand in long queue or risk of falling prey to middlemen as the transport department will send them directly on your registered portal address.
The facility will be launched by the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday.
The new measure besides ensuring zero risk of coronavirus infection will enhance the efficiency of the transport department bringing convenience for people.
“The new system will work under the state government’s initiative ‘Tuhar Sarkar Tuhar Dwar’ (your government at your doorstep) as much convenient option for the people. It will increase awareness on traffic rules, minimise accidents, curb corruption and criminal activities,” said Dipanshu Kabra, Additional Transport Commissioner.
Besides the driving license (DL), registration certificate (RC), duplicate documents, the department will enlist 20 other essential records that can be acquired by an applicant or vehicle owners and get them directly through the post. The smart card will be delivered promptly at the registered address.
The printing and issuing of DL, RC and other documents on smart cards will now be carried out through the modern centralised system instead of the 28 different transport offices located in the districts of the state, Kabra added.
The state transport department has listed 22 distinct services that can be accessed by the people by visiting the official portal www.parivahan.gov.in. The helpline number has also been issued for those seeking any information or assistance.
