  • Process of allocation of government land started

    The process of arranging the encroachers on government land has been started. Applications are being sought for allotment of land. Applications can be submitted in Room No. 28 of District Office Raipur. Collector Dr. S. Bharatidasan has directed the subdivisional officers (Revenue) to dispose of the applications within the time limit.

    It is worth mentioning that the Department of Revenue and Disaster Management of the Government of Chhattisgarh has made partial amendments in relation to the competent officer for the administration of the superseded land in the urban areas and the allocation of government land. The District Collector has been empowered to allot government land up to 7500 square feet on a 30-year lease and to arrange for superseded government land.

    Additional Collector Padmini Bhoi informed that information about vacancies in urban areas of Raipur district has been displayed on the website. In this regard, information about vacant land can also be obtained from the tehsildar of the concerned tehsil. According to the rule of administration on the land encroached in 7500 square feet land, the assessment of the provision will be equal to 150 percent of the prevailing guideline.

  • Workshop on state level transgender law on 10 February in Raipur

    There will be a one-day workshop on the state level transgender law on February 10 from the Social Welfare Department. The workshop will start at 12 noon. Collector Dr. S. Bhartidasan has instructed the heads of all the departments of the district to attend the workshop. With this, the knowledge of transgender law can be worked in their interest.
