Sengottaiyan, who held the roles of District Organisation Secretary and District Secretary of the Erode Suburban West District, has been relieved of both responsibilities. The decision followed a meeting on Saturday between Palaniswami and seven senior party leaders, including former ministers such as Dindigul Srinivasan and KP Munusamy, held at a hotel in Dindigul.
